This 7-bedroom lagoon-front house has beautiful water views and is three blocks from the beach, on 34973 Belle Rd in Bay View Park. House has large fenced-in, gated back deck and boat dock and is used for family reunions and supervised youth and adult group retreats. Back deck has 4 dining tables, lounge chairs, and gas grill. Upper level front porch has views of lagoon and four chairs. House has living and dining room on upper levels with kitchen, laundry area, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Lower level has den entering onto back deck, kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. Four cable TVs, DVD/VHS players, and two stereo systems are in house. House has premium cable TV movie channels and wireless internet. House is decorated in attractive beach-style decor with new furniture in pastel colors. Parking is available for 8 vehicles.

House is located on Belle Road in Bethany Beach in the community of Bay View Park. The beach is the Fenwick Island State Park. Parking is available on the road across from the beach or you can walk to the beach, three blocks away. The scenic community has many beautiful lagoons. Your back deck and boat dock are on a lagoon with crabbing available. There is also an upper level front porch where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lagoon. Bike riding, walking, kayaking, crabbing, boating, and fishing are popular bay front activities in the community. Children will want to go to the amusement parks at the Ocean City Boardwalks, a 10-minute drive away. A variety of family restaurants are available in the area and Bethany Beach is known as a quiet, quaint, family resort.

  • All weekends are for 3 nights and are the same price whether you stay for 2 or 3 nights. Off season cleaning fee is $160
    November to March $750 per weekend (for 2 or 3 nights - same price)
    April $900 per weekend (for 2 or 3 nights - same price)
    May weekends ($1,200 per weekend for 2 or 3 nights - same price)
    Memorial Day weekend, 2009, to Labor Day weekend is $600 per night plus the $200 departure cleaning fee.
    Peak summer weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday, for $4,200 plus the $200 cleaning fee. Taxes and internet service are already included in this rate.
    September rates are $400 per night through Columbus Day weekend
    September 7-night rentals are half price of the summer rates at $2100 per week plus the cleaning fee
    October is $900 for 2 or 3 night weekends after Columbus Day weekend
    Nov. to March $750 for 2 or 3 nights plus the $160 cleaning fee
  • Departure cleaning service in off-season is $160. Cleaning fees in the summer are $200. The above rates already include the 8% rental tax, cable TV, and high-speed internet service.

Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed on the fenced-in back deck and the lower level only of the house. No cats or rodents are allowed in the house. Dogs are allowed on the beach across from the house on a 6-foot leash. This is the Fenwick Island State Park Beach. Dogs are to be kept away from sunbathers.

Youth retreat groups: Any groups of children, teenagers, or college students must have at least two chaperones of age 25 or older. They must be well-supervised by the organization that is holding the retreat. Families with children should supervise their children and not allow them to run around free in the neighborhood without supervision by a baby-sitter or adult. The beck deck is securely fenced in with gates.

Bed linens: There are two sets of bed linens for each bed and sleeper couch, stored in the linen closets in the house. If renters use the sheets, they must launder them and put them away prior to departure. Departure is 5:00 PM on off-season weekends and there are two washer/dryer sets in the house.
