Our family spends four weeks of every summer at the Galway. We have used the house since it first opened. George and LewAnn are gracious hosts and very accomodating. I almost hate to write such a positive review because I never want to lose our space. From relaxing in the adirondack chairs on the front porch, to enjoying the huge and well appointed kitchen, to sleeping in very comfortable beds, to the easy walk to Perkins Cove, Ogunquit and the best beach in Maine...nothing is missing.
We enjoy the golf experience in Maine...very friendly, good courses. Even had a hole in one last year. We also go to the Ogunquit PlayHouse for theatre, to the Portland SeaDogs for minor league, RedSox baseball, to Portland, Kennebunkport, York...but most of all Ogunquit is just perfect. Great restaurants, friendly people, beautiful surroundings and an amazing beach. George and his family are longtime Ogunquit residents and have wonderful stories to tell. You will not regret staying in one of the at "The Field".
