completely renovated, 2 bedroom wings, 2 baths, sleeps 6.

Quiet dead end street. House sits on edge of natural duck pond across street from ocean.

Roof deck, front deck, gazebo on the edge of pond, wood fireplace, washer/dryer, cathedral ceilings throughout. Large master bedroom with sitting area and master bath with 2 person jacuzzi. 2nd bedroom opposite side of house, large cooks kitchen open to dining room/living room looks out over pond and ocean. 2 minute walk to Wallis Sands beach. 5 minutes from boat launch/Odiorne Park, 7 minute drive to Portsmouth Harbor and quaint, historic Strawberry Banke. 15 minutes from Kittery Maine outlets.

Absolutely perfect...clean, peaceful, well-stocked! 5 minute walk to Wallis Sands and a short drive to Portsmouth. Loved being close enough to everything - but loved the privacy of this home too.

The view from every room is beautiful - don't miss the view from the roof!

The owner was extremely easy to deal with, even after a payment snafu on my part. Friends and I plan to return - we're not even going to try to book anywhere else. LOVED THIS!

Quintessential Stay

We the perfect stay! You could get the best of Rye both at the house as well as by walking just 10 minutes to the beach. The house is very well kept, the setting is very private, and there are spectacular views of the ocean and marshes. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on the front porch with the refreshing morning ocean breeze. The early part of the day we spent at the beach. Portsmouth was just 15 minute drive. Early evenings we had dinner in the gazebo with a great view of the ocean and marshes. After dinner we either enjoyed the roof deck (also with an amazing view) or used the outdoor fireplace. The only disappointing thing about our stay is the fact this house may not be available next year as the owners are selling.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Charming!

House was just a short walk to beach in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Wallis Sands Beach is clean with a lifeguard and a rocky area with tidal pools to explore,my husband was even able to snorkel a little. The house has a nice open plan and is user friendly, clean and updated. Beds and sofas were comfortable and plush. Owners have provided plenty of amenities, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and new appliances. We enjoyed the rooftop deck and natural surroundings. Owner is very helpful and provided plenty of info and recommendations. Portsmouth is a short drive, with lovely shops and restaurants. Overall one of the best, most relaxing vacations we have ever had.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
