Located in Summit County, bordering Grand County, close to everything but far enough away to enjoy an authentic mountain getaway experience! The tiny hamlet of Heeney gives the feeling of being world's away from it all, while still close enough to everything Colorado has to offer! The Heeney Hideaway cabin is situated overlooking the central part of the reservoir. Though we aren't lake front we are lake view, as well as surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges. The lake is just a couple minutes walk down from the cabin as well as the nearby marina is just down the road a bit more. This cabin sits on a row of 8 of the original Heeney cabins. Though you have neighboring cabins on either side of you the cabin is set back off of the road and allows for total serenity.

Our cabin is fully furnished, exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything you need to make your Colorado vacation all it can be. The Heeney Hideaway cabin offers high count linens luxury cotton towels and many more amenities that will keep you comfortable. The only thing this home away from home doesn't have is satellite or cable, and that's cause' we really do want you to relax! We do offer an extensive movie library so you can still enjoy a movie night together. The cabin also has a nice selection of board games, cards, books and magazines.

Close to it all but far enough to really getaway.:
Tucked away between two incredible mountain ranges, the gore and Williams peak, the area offers the best in skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, mountain biking, extensive hiking trails, nearby national forests. Shop at the outlets at Silverthorne. Visit Kremmling! Golf at the raven golf club at three peaks in Silverthorne. visit downtown Breckenridge just 45 minutes away. Enjoy rock climbing, hunting, white water rafting, kayaking, hang gliding, lake or fly fishing in the gold medal trout waters of the blue river. Water skiing, jet skiing, wake boarding, wind surfing, swimming, boating as well as on site boat rentals at the Heeney marina on the green mountain reservoir, 4-wheeling trails surround us and horseback riding at nearby rusty spur ranch. Ice-fishing is a big deal around here in the winter...don't be left out in the cold! Enjoy wildlife viewing, sightseeing, not to mention good old fashioned relaxation. Snowmobile tours! Ask us.

Just about 40 minutes from Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland and Copper Mountain ski resorts, the area offers a unique change of scene and pace from all the big resorts down the road.
