On the ocean, close to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park and only 26 feet to a private beach. Watch seals bask in the sun and frolic in the water from the comfort of a couch or spacious deck. Eagles fly by and regularly perch in nearby trees. Near Ellsworth, Blue Hill, Bucksport, and Bangor. Quaint cottage completely refurbished including new bathroom and kitchen.

Great Place!

Loved the cottage!! Very clean, private, great location. Close enough (20 min or so) to Bar Harbor & Acadia & easy to get to other locations (Schoodic, etc). The seals made daily visits as well as Eagles. We had a great time & hope to visit again! Arrangements were easy to make & handled mostly through email, owners very helpful w/providing information.

COZY COTTAGE WITH A VIEW

We had such a relaxing weekend..this is the place to just get away from it all. We enjoyed the seals,Eagles and Heron that we watched from the deck on a daily basis. The cottage is beautiful on the inside and absolutely spotless. We look foward to staying again next summer.

Get Away and Relax

My wife and I stayed here during the last week in August 2010. Very neat cottage, and just what we needed. We found it convenient to Bar Harbor and of course the National Park, where we spent much of our time. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck, for a cup of coffee in the AM, reading a book, enjoying the view and peace and quiet. Same too at night, as bugs were luckily not an issue. Seamless arrangements, handled most everythin via email. We would stay here again.

Great vacation getaway in a charming setting.

We loved the privacy and natural setting of this beautiful little cabin. Great new woodwork and pleasant layout make this the perfect accommodation for a nice vacation. A walk on the rocky beach at low tide and a great deck for grilling at any tide. Great views to Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park. Pretty countryside, yet convenient to Ellsworth. Russ is very Hospitible. Thanks and we hope to come back!

What a beautiful location! gorgeous views, very quiet, peaceful surroundings. cottage very clean, comfortable. location near many of the widely popular coastal maine towns/ harbors. hope to stay again in the future!
