The Papakea Beach Resort is one of the best kept secrets on the Island of Maui. It is a low-rise condominium resort occupying 12 acres of lush tropical gardens and koi ponds. We are located on the third floor of a four story oceanfront building with an unobstructed view of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. There are elevators in each building, and it is handicap friendly. It has two large pools, two whirlpool spa's, barbeque's located around each pool, two 12 hole putting greens, shuffle-board and 3 lighted Tennis Courts. The Papakea is located near golf and many beautiful beaches for swimming snorkeling, diving or just sunbathing. You can even practice snorkeling right in front of your unit. You are only a short drive from the little Whaling Village of Lahaina with shops, restaurants and a picturesque harbor. Star Market is just across the street and The Farmers Market is just up the street 3 times a week for island fresh fruit and veggies.

My husband and I finished up our 2 week honeymoon by staying for 2 nights in this unit. The views are absolutely breathtaking and were a fabulous way to end our vacation. The unit is very spacious and has lots of amenities that would be crucial if you spent a long time here. The grounds are beautiful as well. We spent a little time at one of the pools and it was lovely. The beach is a little small but if you walk a short distance, it really opens up. My husband and I enjoyed parking some beach chairs in the edge of the water and just had the waves crash into us. It was so much fun. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking to have a fantastic Maui vacation.
