My family loves to go to Michigan's West Coast for our summer vacation. In the past we have stayed at hotels, always getting a suite for the kitchenette and extra room they offered. Never again. This rental house was perfect. We could not believe all the little extras that were available, just like being at home. If there was a toiletry need or personal ammenity, the house was stocked full. There were six of us and we went to the beach 5 times. We never ran out of towels or wash cloths to use and the beach chairs came in handy. We have four young children, (7yrs to 11 months old) and the toys, games and activity books on hand kept our kids entertained for hours. The house did not have air conditioning, but being in a wooded area and close to the beach, the house never felt warm. The only small concern we had was a small amount of ants in the kitchen that seemed to be coming from around the stove. We never really saw them disappear completely, but keeping the kitchen area clean and all food put away eliminated most of them. It was really not a big deal. There were a lot of family oriented acitivies nearby, besides the beach being a 60 second drive away, there was a petting farm/country store nearby and an indoor water park less than 10 minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will consider staying at this house again next year.
