Beautiful Location

I want to start off by saying how beautiful Coral Beach is. The location of this unit is what makes it nice, unfortunately for our stay the maid had a bad day or something because upon our arrival I spent an hour cleaning the fridge, stove, etc. just so we could use them and there was no pot for the coffee maker. There is a water cooler but no bottled water, much to our surprise we had to buy our own bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap!! The unit is not quite as new and remodeled as it says, I think that was about 8 years ago, and does show age and missing a little bit of upkeep. We were very disappointed with this as we have rented like this before and had a great experience. The best part, beside the wonderful beach, is the Pool Bar and Grill. we got to meet the owners who are great people and Maxine our bartender, along with the many residents who live here very friendly. The food is very good and drinks are very reasonable compared to other places, a must visit. Location is perfect for walking up the beach to Port LaCaya to shop, eat or visit the casino. We rented a scooter here to go get groceries at Solomons so we didn't have to carry everything back, a taxi would run about $20 round trip. (Just remember to drive on the left side). Highly recommend "Miss Queenie" for a taxi, very reliable and most reasonable! We tried to call the driver Michael recommended but he suggested we use a bus it would be cheaper than him? Overall we loved Coral Beach Hotel and area will just stay in a different unit when we go back next year, hopefully our own! I do want to say that with all that happened Michael did email us but we never could get a response from his "property mgr". and he did refund the cleaning fee, the unit just needs some attention.
Owner's Response: Yes the Coral Beach is certainly lovely and so is the unit, unfortunately my property manager had one lapse
in fully cleaning and stocking the unit which I have since corrected. As the previous reviews state it is a wonderful
experience and this has been the only exception.
