Wedding Accomodations

My husband and I recently rented the Kinvara house the week before our daughter's beach wedding and Cooley Field reception. It was immaculate upon arrival and had all the comforts of home. Although it is not uncommon to have access to Cable TV and the Internet, nowhere have I ever heard of, that gives you free telephone access to anywhere in the United States! This certainly was a plus, as we had guests from Chicago, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Northern Maine. The other three houses were rented by the groom's family and the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids; but it was the Kinvara that everyone seemd to flock to for our nightly dinners. I guess it must have been the open and airy feeling that it presents along with the user friendly kitchen. The bar in the kitchen can easily seat four people and the dining area has an oversized table which will allow dining for 10-12 guests. In addition to this, there is a picnic table outside nestled within a beautiful rock wall and surrounded by perennial flowers. The Kinvara was the perfect house for us, as parents of the bride. We could entertain guests as they came and went throughout the week, but were assured the space and privacy that we required. The upstairs master bedroom was far enough away to allow me to escape when the stress of the upcoming event heightened, and the downstairs bedroom and bath was just what we needed for my elderly parents. It was private and they did not have to climb stairs. After the beach wedding we all returned to the Cooley field for a reception uner the "Big Top" tent. Everyone raved about the beautiful setting with all the wildflowers and fruit trees. The porch on the Kinvara house was the best seat in the house to watch all the festivities of the week. I would recommend renting the Kinvara house to vacationers who want luxury accomodations with that homey feeling, or have the opportunity to celebrate that "special" ocassion. It's clean; it's modern and has all the amenities of home, maybe even more.
