The largest property in Sacandaga Park, old historic home with many trees, flowering bushes, shed on property, fully furnished, 2 fireplaces, front porch, partial lake view of the Great Sacandaga Lake, adjacent to public golf course, beach access, town of Northville. Washer, dryer, linens provided, microwave, TV/VCR/DVD, nearby Saratoga with Performing Arts Center, Skidmore College, racetrack, hot springs and shopping. There is a beautiful beach and park only 1 1/2 mile from house.

Fabulous summer getaway!

This was a wonderful July 4th getaway for a group of friends. There were comfortable accomodations for all 7 of us, and we had a ball. We used the grill for a BBQ, played mini-golf nearby, rented a boat for a sun-filled day on the Sacandaga River, and also enjoyed the charm of Main St. (diner, vintage shops, etc.) We can't wait to go back, and hope to visit Saratoga this time, as it's so close. Also excellent getaway for golf fanatics.

Great for groups!

This was my third time at this house and I will definitely be back! We always get a big group together, and it's fantastic not to have to worry about squeezing one more in-- there's always plenty of room and plenty of parking.

The place was clean and very well-maintained. The house has literally everything you need-- toilet paper in the bathrooms, spices in the kitchen, coals for grilling, etc. There's even complimentary wine!

Location is great-- golfing, hiking, skiing, swimming, shopping, boating, etc is all nearby and easy to access. We had a great time hiking on the Northville-Placid trail (written instructions on how to access the trail head are in the house's trail book). We also enjoyed the Northville farmer's market and the 4th of July fireworks (we used the beach chairs from the shed and got a great view).

Do you like golf - being near a lake - vacationing in a lovely small town? If so, this is the place for you. The house is well maintained and has everything you would need for your vacation. We love gathering on the big porch with all of our friends and having a fire at night. This will be our fourth year and won't be our last.

Our family has enjoyed this home for the past two New Year Eves. Its easy access to Lapland Lake for cross- country skiing was the basis for our selecting this location. The house easily provided room for the six adults in our group - number of bedrooms and baths made it very easy to have privacy. Of special note is the kitchen area and provisions already available for use - we were able to cook our own meals with enough elbow room for all three cooks! The warmth of having the woodstove and easy access to lots of wood added to our pleasure of relaxing. Multiple media devices also made our stay most enjoyable. We highly recommend this home for its comfort and location as well as the above mentioned. Happy stay to all.
