West Yarmouth Vacation Rental house

Our family had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful Cape home in September of 2007. Upon arriving and seeing the home for the first time we were impressed with the fact that it was inside of a gated community and free from traffic concerns. Peace & quiet are merely words, but they describe the atmosphere to a tee. This home has great street presence. Unpacking had to wait as we all ran to explore the home and it's surroundings. This home screams 'Cape Cod' from the moment you set foot inside. The color scheme and furnishings are warm and inviting, and the kitchen area is wide open and expansive and fully stocked for all of your cooking/dining needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms/showers are plentiful, and having the laundry facilities available allowed us to go home with clean clothes and not have to worry about doing oodles of laundry when we went back to reality. Our favorite spot turned out to be the ocean-facing deck off of the second story. Sliders from the upstairs livingroom take you outside to this slice of heaven. Whether you enjoy the ocean breezes, the smell of the beach, or just sitting outside relaxing with your favorite beverage morning, noon or night, this deck is where you'll all migrate to. We liked waking up and having the first cup of coffee on the deck as we planned our day, and later relaxing out on the deck before turning in for the night. The backyard is great for relaxing, cookouts, etc. With the ocean a 100' walk across the street and down the boardwalk, coming and going as you please added enjoyment to a day spent on the beach. No more worrying about forgetting anything, no more having to leave early if someone got bored. The convenience of proximity was priceless. No fighting for a spot to put the blanket, towel or chair. It's a private beach with beautiful sand. We like to fish so we spent quite a bit of time surfcasting, catching strippers & bluefish while we relaxed on the beach. Oh yeah, did we mention the community pool area? For those who prefer to relax by the pool there's one of those too, a big one for the whole family to enjoy! Great attractions are within a short drive. Mini golf for the kids, shopping & all types of dining are within a 5 minute drive.
Whether you're going to relax, or whether you line up a full schedule of things to do, this house is in the heart of the Cape and allows you easy access to all that the Cape has to offer. Our family is already looking forward to returning in 2008 and beyond!
