Picturesque Woodmont is part of historic Milford; Yale and New Haven are 15 minutes away with fabulous restaurants and night life. Within walking from the house are a supermarket, drug store, bakery and video rental. Lovely quiet, shallow water with sandy beach.

Notes: Although located on the water, this is not an empty beach rental property, it is a lovely, fully equipped home with carpets, artwork and collectibles. Drawer and closet spaces are provided for a comfortable stay. The owner leaves personal items on the premises and leaves spices and condiments asking only that they be replaced if emptied. This has been a successful arrangement for several years.

About the area: This is one of the lovliest views in Connecticut with a sandy beach and rocky outcroppings. A 2 mile sidewalk extends along the shore for excellent exercise. Excellent seafood restaurants within a mile. Small shopping center 4 blocks away for supermarket, drug store, video rentals, Irish bakery, Dunkin Donuts, DQ. Arts and cultural events abound in New Haven (Yale, 15 minutes away) and Milford. Public golf course 20 minutes away. The house is in a quiet residential area with a narrow one-way street in front. A fabulous place to stay year round.

About the house: Sunrise to sunset views from every window - even the kitchen! Relax in the private English garden or cross over to the beach. This is a well-appointed home with carpets and artwork. The second floor covered porch serves as an outdoor eating area with wrap-around views, teak furniture and a gas grill. The third floor deck also has a magnificent view.
