Private cabin on 7 acres of private property overlooking beautiful Oxbow Lake. Direct lakefront across the street. This property is located under tall pines and offers privacy and great views. There are 3 BR, LR, DR, kitchen, bath and large glass enclosed porch with views of the lake. The house has been recently updated with new kitchen and bath. Enjoy, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, hiking, golf and other summertime activities. Excellent location as an accommodation for 'Camp of the Woods' Summer retreat. Phone, cable TV and Internet.

Great Cabin on peaceful lake

This cabin is fantastic! Everything you will need for an enjoyable vacation and more. The boathouse, kayaks, and canoes as well as dock and sandy beach are great. Oxbow lake is a pleasant, peaceful lake with great fishing. A pair of loons can be heard in the evenings while enjoying a relaxing paddle, or just sitting in your Adirondack chair. We definitely recommend this cabin rental.
The entire Speculator region is a wonderful place to stay! There are many things to do for the entire family from boating, hiking, camping, the beaches, etc.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Oxbow Get Away

Well cared for, 2 story, clean property with updated kitchen/bath and good space for 4 to 6 (up to eight is possible but not as comfortable as with smaller group) , very reasonably priced - lake front rentals usually are costlier. Oxbow lake provides an excellent recreation and relaxation resource. Speculator is an unharried area close to many Adirondack attractions. Owner is very good about commumications if you have questions or needs. I highly recommend this cottage if you are interested in this area. Thank you Brian!
