Impressive remodeled vacation home situated on a terrific one acre spot with 140ft . of water frontage on the Tittabawassee River between Gladwin and West Branch. A beautiful place to play and relax in a scenic waterfront setting during your spring, or summer vacation! The house has a large living room with a huge stone fireplace and (3) sliding double door walls that open onto two large sunny decks overlooking the river. There are three bedrooms (all new carpeting in Aug '10), a sun room, a custom built kitchen, six skylights, and a really big family room with a large screen TV....this home is built for comfort and relaxation! The custom kitchen is fully equipped; microwave, coffeemaker, pots/pans, dishes and tableware. Outside is a gas grill, picnic table, lot of deck furniture and a fire ring. Also a private boat launch/ramp 80 yds. away, and a personal boat dock right on the property. In addition to all of this, there is a gazebo covered hot-tub for 6 right outside your doorwall!

Things to do: Go fishing, swimming or water ski from your own private dock. A small paddle boat is also provided. There are two golf courses nearby, great restaurants and good shopping within the area (including an outlet mall). Or you can just relax and sunbath on the two large attached decks, or spend some soothing time in the 6 person hot tub! Take quiet stress-relieving walks on the nearby forest paths. Local state-land forest is teeming with deer, turkey and other wildlife. Enjoy an evening roasting marshmallows over the bonfire pit under blazing stars. Bring your bikes and or your canoe!

Why Tom Kaucic chose Gladwin

It is on a wide bend in the river with 140+ft of waterfront. It is VERY close to 'State Land'; heavily wooded, nature trails, NO future development, LOTS of deer, raccoons, and other wild animals. We used to snow-mobile in this area and when we decided to buy 'up north' my family loved this spot! The house is totally updated and suitable for year-round living.....AND it is only a 2 1/2hr drive from metro-Detroit area!!

Beautiful mid-Michigan lake country with easy access to state forests, Amish district, small villages, and nearby towns. You can easily reach the 'Big Mac Bridge' and Mackinaw for a wonderful day-trip, or golf at famous courses such as; The Bear, The Wolverine, Devil's Knob, Crystal Mountain near Traverse or Tree Tops in Gaylord. There is also a outlet mall nearby for you shoppers, and very good restaurants for all. Lots of boating, swimming and fishing right outside your door!

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $800/$1100/week Note:Weeks containing the 4th of July or Labor Day; rate of $1100
  • Summer Season: (June 4 - September 10):
    $1000/week (or $143/day) ....discount for monthly rental!
    Autumn Season: (September 9 - September 30):
    $800/week (or 114.30/day)......discount for all monthly rentals!
    $100Cleaning Fee,
    $500 Security/Damage Deposit required
    $80 Pet Fee....(1) pet only allowed
  • Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. $500 Security Deposit required ASAP to 'reserve' desired time period for Renter. Rental Rate does include all taxes and utilities. One-hundred percent (100%) of full Rental Rate is due 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date!
    All rental cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Terms; within 50 to 31 days prior to occupancy date of scheduled rental period, one-half of the Rental Rate will be retained by Lessor as a Cancellation Fee, if rental is cancelled within 30 days of the occupancy date, no Rental Rate refunds will be made unless this property is 're-rented' for the same cancelled/reserved time period and same Rental Rate$$. IF and only if, Lessor is able to re-rent the property for the same cancelled/reserved time period and Rental Rate$$, will the Lessor return the full Rental Rate amount.....but the $500.00 Security Deposit amount will be retained as a Cancellation Fee.

Tom,
Wow what a great hide away. The lake view was amazing and I enjoyed the long white barked trees that ran along all the country roads. Jordan and I took a couple walks down the dirt roads around the lake, very relaxing and peaceful. Jessica, Braden, Jordan and I took the pontoon boat out to the middle of the lake and swam. In the evenings we played either my favorite, baseball, or Jessica's favorite, soccer. The front yard is great for family sport games and ours got pretty intense. Hanging with the family at dinner on the big deck was really nice too. Hope to come back again and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Thank you Tom for inviting us to rent your "cabin".....it is so beautiful and awesome. We had so much fun there and the kids went swimming and fishing and had a blast! We had bonfires most nights and went up to Mackinaw Island. Your place is Amazing and everybody really loved the Hot Tub!!

Loved the Cottage

Tom, Loved the cottage and had a great time with many laughs. Very spacious plus very clean which was important. We enjoyed the beautifull view of the lake and the kids had a great time swimming, fishing and using the boat. We were provided with everything we needed and then some!
