Impressive remodeled vacation home situated on a terrific one acre spot with 150ft . of water frontage on the Tittabawassee River between Gladwin and West Branch. A beautiful place to play and relax in a scenic waterfront setting during your spring, or summer vacation! The house has a large living room with a huge stone fireplace and (3) sliding double door walls that open onto two large sunny decks overlooking the river. There are three bedrooms (all new carpeting in May '10), a sun room, a custom built kitchen, six skylights, and a really big family room with a large screen TV....this home is built for comfort and relaxation! The custom kitchen is fully equipped; microwave, coffeemaker, pots/pans, dishes and tableware. Outside is a gas grill, picnic table, lot of deck furniture and a fire ring. Also a private boat launch/ramp 80 yds. away, and a personal boat dock right on the property. In addition to all of this, there is a gazebo covered hot-tub for 6 right outside your doorwall!

Beautiful mid-Michigan lake country with easy access to state forests, Amish district, small villages, and nearby towns. You can easily reach the 'Big Mac Bridge' and Mackinaw for a wonderful day-trip, or golf at famous courses such as; The Bear, The Wolverine, Devil's Knob, Crystal Mountain near Traverse or Tree Tops in Gaylord. There is also a outlet mall nearby for you shoppers, and very good restaurants for all. Lots of boating, swimming and fishing right outside your door!

  • $800/$1200/week Note:Weeks containing the 4th of July; rate of $1200
  • Summer Season: (June 4 - September 10):
    $1100/week (or $157/day) .....discount for monthly rental
    Autumn Season: (September 10 - September 30):
    $800/week (or 114.30/day).......discount for all monthly rentals
    $100Cleaning Fee,
    $700 Security/Damage Deposit required
    $80 Pet Fee....(1) pet only allowed
  • Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. $700 Security Deposit required ASAP to 'reserve' desired time period for Renter. Rental Rate does include all taxes and utilities. One-hundred percent (100%) of full Rental Rate is due 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date....NO exceptions!
    All rental cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Terms; within 50 to 31 days prior to occupancy date of scheduled rental period, one-half ($550) of the Rental Rate will be retained by Lessor as a Cancellation Fee, if rental is cancelled within 30 days of the occupancy date, no Rental Rate refunds will be made unless this property is 're-rented' for the same cancelled/reserved time period AND same Rental Rate$$. IF and only if, Lessor is able to re-rent the property for the same cancelled/reserved time period and Rental Rate$$, will the Lessor return the full Rental Rate amount.....but the $700.00 Security Deposit amount will be retained as a Cancellation Fee.

Go fishing, swimming or water ski from your own private dock. A rowboat and small paddle boat are provided. There are two golf courses nearby, great restaurants and good shopping within the area (including an outlet mall). Or you can just relax and sunbath on the two large attached decks, or spend some soothing time in the 6 person hot tub! Take quiet stress-relieving walks on the nearby forest paths. Local state-land forest is teeming with deer, turkey and other wildlife. Enjoy an evening roasting marshmallows over the bonfire pit under blazing stars. Bring your bikes and or your canoe!

Tom has a great place to relax and get away. The fishing was very good and the scenery was excellent. Very nice place to stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: That's one of the great things about my place; my renters tell me "it was relaxing, it was really well furnished, it was really clean, the boating was really good, the hotub was wonderfull.....or we really enjoyed the big fire-pit each night!"

My family has enjoyed vacationing at this location for several years now. Tom is a very gracious owner supplying all the amenities needed for a great get-away! Plenty of room to fit large groups and love the seclusion. Fishing, swimming, boating, lounging in the hot tub, hanging out at the campfire....all makes for great rest and relaxation.
