Private but centrally located in beautiful West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard off Tiah's Cove Rd. on 1 1/2 acres of private wooded land. We are several minutes from the Atlantic South beach at Long Point, Vineyard Sound beach at Lambert's Cove and the magnificent Tisbury Great Pond. We are 15 minutes from Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, but far enough away to be removed from the bustle of down island life. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing yet accessible spot on Martha's Vineyard, this is the place. Our house is open and spacious with a 20' cathedral ceiling living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a central chimney. You will feel as if the outdoors is all around you. We have decks front and back and a large outdoor shower, our favorite spot.

Nearest ferry:   Vineyard Haven at 10 Miles
Nearest beach:   beach at 1.0 Miles

You can enjoy two town beaches in West Tisbury, kayaking in the Tisbury Great Pond, fishing in Menemsha or sunsets at Gay Head. There is plenty for kids to do. If you or they like horseback riding, there is Pond View farm just down the Road. Oak Bluffs is a favorite for kids during the day with the famous Flying Horses Carousel. Edgartown is quaint New England with many superb restaurants. We especially like going to Menemsha, the old fishing village, to sit on the dock and eat lobster prepared at Larsen's. If you like fishing, there are many fishing charter boats to choose from. If you want to stay nearby, Sipiessa point at the Great Pond is a short walk down the Road. West Tisbury is the agricultural center of the island. Every Saturday, there is great farmer's market in town. There is also a wonderful library where you can check out movies for free.
