If you want to venture further afield, the cities of Murcia, Alicante and Cartagena are all less than an hour's drive. North and South of the village, the neighbouring towns of Torre Vieja, El Pilar, Lopagan, El Mojon and San Pedro, all within a quarter of an hour, offer a whole range of opportunities for day and night time entertainment to make your holiday more enjoyable, especially if you are staying for more than a few days. There are lovely scenic country walks easily accessible by car.
Golf Information:: There is easy access to a number of superb golf courses, such as Villamartin, which was host to the Spanish Open in 1985; Las Ramblas, perhaps the hardest of all, renown for its stunning scenery; and Campoamor, a more forgiving course, also with spectacular views.
