This Mountain side / lakefront cottage is a newly renovated, very clean, romantic getaway. It is secluded enough for a peaceful, uninterrupted get together yet it is only 25 minutes to the nearest Starbucks and malls. The living room has a gas fireplace that makes it a perfect gathering place for some serious heat and the Den has a gas fireplace unit that keeps the rest of the house at a constant temperature. The bedroom has an electric fireplace whose very real flames make for the most romantic setting. There is also a hanging 8 candle wall sconce for added ambiance as well as a heated mattress for added comfort! There is CABLE TV, DVD, FREE HIGH SPEED CABLE INTERNET, WiFi and an iPOD DOCKING STATION. The kitchen is new, with a large built in microwave, a blender, toaster, toaster oven, gas oven, can opener and coffee maker,
There is a large air conditioner built into the living room and a window A/C for the bedroom, and another for the den. This cottage is well insulated so the temperature is cool and constant.
It is a great place for young adventurous kids. They can paddleboat to the country store for ice cream and candy, catch fish with a net at the shore, use the goggles and snorkels to see the fish under water, or use the fishing poles to fish. There are 'swimmies and life jackets for everyone in the plastic storage box on the Dock and a great 11 foot water trampoline.
HAMMOCK, FIREWOOD, NEW FIRE PIT:
There is a new large two person hammock for resting and a new two person swing seat on the deck. There is a new large BBQ grill, with a side burner, so you can cook a meal for everyone. The firewood is supplied, cut and ready for you. there are easy light fire logs to make the fire a pleasure rather then a chore. The water is warm, and the Adirondack chairs are perfect for watching the kids in the lake.
There is a large picnic table on the lawn for lunch and an outdoor table on the rear deck for an outside sunset sit down dinner. There are some DVD's for the kids to keep them busy, and a driving range and a golf course for dad nearby. There are some great places to go to see some of the most unique antiques I have ever seen.
Ski:
Montage is the closest at about 20 minutes away. Camelback and Elk are about 30 min.
Golf:
There are numerous golf courses w/ in 30 minutes and very reasonably priced. The closest is Scranton Municipal Course that is about 10 min. away and very nice. Please feel free to ask us about any others nearby.
