This charming 4 season cottage is located on Lake Henry, in the Northeast section of the Poconos. It is renovated throughout. In summer enjoy our two person kayak, paddle boat or canoe. Yard slopes gently to lake. Safe for little ones. Swim to the swim dock and just lounge and gaze at the trees and the lake in the rope hammock.There is a grill and a FIRE PIT for evening campfires (wood provided). Also we have a beautiful dock from which to SWIM, FISH or relax. Its very quiet. GOLF courses just 10-15 minutes away.Horseback riding/waterparks/zoo are w/in 20-30 min. away. In the Fall, the country is serenely beautiful in the with all the leaves changing colors and farm stands to visit. There are cider mills and pumpkin patches.
In WINTER, we are within 20-30 min of skiing. Iceskate on the lake. Retreat inside w/ the cozy fireplaces and a pot of chili. Have a campfire if there's no snow. Watch the amazing sunsets over the mountain or cross the lake. Play Wii listen to music on ipod dock. This affordable vacation property is designed for a quiet small family or a romantic getaway. The interior is clean and updated. Also, ask about linens. House has 2 gas fireplaces.

It is a great place for young adventurous kids. they can catch fish with a net at the shore, use the goggles and snorkels to see the fish under water, or use the fishing poles to fish. There are 'swimmies and life jackets for everyone in the plastic storage box on the Dock. We also put up an 11 foot water trampoline!
HAMMOCK, FIREWOOD, FIRE PIT: There is a large two person hammock for resting and a two person swing seat on the deck. There is a new large BBQ grill, with a side burner, so you can cook a meal for everyone. The firewood is supplied, cut and ready for you. The water is warm, and the Adirondack chairs are perfect for watching the kids in the lake.
There is a large picnic table on the lawn for lunch and an outdoor table on the rear deck for an outside sunset sit down dinner. There are some DVD's for the kids to keep them busy, and a driving range and a golf course for dad nearby. There are some great places to go to see some of the most unique antiques I have ever seen.
