Highly recommended -- A great lakefront getaway

I spent a long weekend in the cabin with five friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind. Beautiful waterfront views, a friendly lake community, our very own private deck and dock with boats --- it was all really terrific. Barbara was extremely professional and helpful in setting up the rental over email, and the cabin was spotless and fully stocked with clean towels and linens when we arrived. It's on a beautiful lakefront property --- neighbors are close, but there are trees to give you a little privacy. The cabin itself is charming and cozy. It's a little big snug for six people, but we didn't spend much time indoors. The porch overlooks the lake, and steps lead down to the deck and boat dock. Everything was very well maintained -- the grill had gas, the boats were in good condition, the lawn was well groomed. A few quick notes: Buy food before you get to the cabin, since there aren't any grocery stores for a good drive in either direction. And there isn't much in the way of spices or pantry items, so bring your own if you want to cook. The living room area has a nice TV with a DVD player, which you can't see in the pictures. The lofted bed has no door/separation from the main room/kitchen, so best to put the heavy sleepers up there. Overall, I highly recommend the cabin and would definitely consider coming back.
