Wake up to the sound of the surf from our spacious New England 8 room colonial with great ocean views located across from the sands of Jenness Beach. Our home has been updated with a white bead-board and stainless kitchen, gleaming hardwood floors, and new high energy washer and dryer.The downstairs has a large eat in kitchen, sun room, casual blue and yellow living room, dining room with built in china closet, new granite/tile full bath, laundry area and two large closets. Four bedrooms (two of which open onto a large second floor deck overlooking the ocean) can sleep ten people. Master Bedroom has queen size bed; Second Bedroom has full size bed;Third Bedroom has two twin beds; Fourth Bedroom has two bunk beds. An additional new granite/tile full bath with double sinks is also upstairs. This special home has a new two car garage,parking for six cars and a wonderful private yard. Walk across the street to your fun day at the beach (beach chairs and towels provided)! No smoking/No Pet

  • WINTER LONG TERM RENTAL is $2200 per month October 1 2012 (earlier if available) through May 24, 2013 plus utilities (Note:US phone, preferred cable, wireless internet and lawn maintenance,sewer charges, Service furnace tune up are paid by landlord). Home has been certified fully insulated, has updated Harvey E Glass windows and energy efficient SS appliances. Towels and linens are not provided and home will be in a Winter State for the duration of the lease. A satisfactory credit check and one month's security deposit is required for winter rentals. Our home is professional cleaned prior to your arrival at no additional charge.
  • WEEKLY SUMMER RENTALS - Saturday to Saturday -50% nonrefundable deposit is due when contract is signed. Remaining balance is due by May 1st. $500 security deposit is required(refundable within 30 days of stay pending no damage ). Our home is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival at no additional charge.

We enjoyed our stay at the rental very much. We were in town for a fall wedding- it was easy to get around and in between we enjoyed the beautiful beach and the comforts of this home. We were minutes from a few great restaurants and Rye Harbor. Great communication with the owner, everything was just as they said it would be. What a beautiful time of year to enjoy Rye, Kittery and Portsmouth.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

A Gem of a House!!!

We've stayed in the house two years in a row and just love it! Aside from being steps from our favorite beach the roof deck has amazing views, the kitchen is top notch, and I could probably live in the outdoor shower. ;o)

Jean and Jon are great to work with and are organized, friendly, and timely in how they conduct their business. You will not be dissapointed if you stay here.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

This is one of the best houses we have rented in Rye Beach. It was in perfect condition and well equiped by the owners. Just a short walk to Jenness Beach, our favorite beach on the Seacoast. Close to lots of children's activities (aside from the beach) -- Portsmouth Children's Museum, York Wild Animal Kingdom and Kittery outlets!! Something for everyone. The owners provided a notebook of local information which was very helpful. The week went all too quickly!

Perfect for our 30th Wedding Vow Renewal

We needed a place to hold our 30th wedding vow renewal celebration. This house was the perfect size to accommate the 4 adult couples and 1 baby in our family for the week. It was also perfectly comfortable for the 40 people we hosted for a buffet dinner after our ceremony on the beach one evening. The 4 large rooms on the first floor were perfectly suited to the occassion. The location was great! Rye beach is more serene than the other NH beaches and it was only a short 5 min walk to the beach from the house. The bedrooms easily fit our 8 adults and there was room for more if we needed it. The house was very clean, nicely decorated with a beach theme and the appliances were all high end. The house included more linnens and towels than we could have used, which was very convenient. The outdoor shower stall with hot water was a hit with the family and friends that visited us for a day at the beach and it kept the house bathrooms more available. The only issue was that the upstairs bath drained a little slowly. More of a minor annoyance than a real issue. But I feel compelled to give a full review, including all negatives, and that was the only negative I could think of. Although the cost was more than we wanted to pay, it was definitely worth the extra money. We have rented other beach houses in Rye, Seabrook and Hampton, but this one was by far the best! The house made for a perfect beach vacation and renewal celebration!

Jon and Jean,
We had a wonderful time at your beach home. We stayed for a week with our teenage boys and we all enjoyed the outdoor shower, beach views from the upper deck, use of the boogey boards, grill...there are too many ammenities to mention!
Our visit seemed to fly by quickly. The beach was easy to access and we took morning and evening walks. The boys and their friends couldn't wait to ride the waves!
Thank you for sharing your home -even the weather was great. We hope to return in the future.
