Great weekend for our family

My husband, step-son, nephew and I spent the weekend of June 6th at the Condo. The place was very nice and all items were just as described.
Before our arrival we had excellent communication with the owner, Susan. She was nice and very helpful. We were ab;e to make a secure payment via PayPal.
The kitchen was well equipped and had granite counters and stainless steel appliances. I would definitely recommend bringing a bag of ice to get you started as there were only three ice trays to be used.
The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathrooms were roomy, but I would recommend bringing an extra set of towels if you are going to be there more than a couple of days.
Each bedroom has a nice-sized television, with the one in the living room having a DVD/VCR. There was also a very nice micro-stereo system in the living room suitable for playing CDs. Located in two cubbies in the coffee table were several games and a large selection of books.
Although the pool was not as easily as accessable as I would have liked (the second floor units had to go down the front stairs and around the side of the building), the yard was a perfect size and the pool was clean and very relaxing.
My only negative is that the condo's management company left much to be desired. We were given four different check-in times all on our first day. After the final time we were supposed to meet, we were left in the heat for an extra 40 minutes while the company attempted to find the key from the cleaning service. Later on the first day, I noticed that the coax was disconnected and in poor condition in the second bedroom. I called the company and was told that someone would be by shortly. An hour later, I played with it myself and rigged it enough to work for our weekend. I called the company back to re-explain the problem and what needed to be purchased to permanently fix the problem, but I don't know if they will do anything about it.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a small family. Next time we go to South Padre we will definitely see if it is available again.
