Seashell is a bright two bedroom villa with cool tile floors throughout. It is set on a quiet residential street a few blocks from the nearby shopping center, and close to Englewood Hospital off Pine Street, and a five minute drive to Englewood Beach. The bathroom has a tub/shower, and the bedrooms have one king bed and two twins, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for those extra visitors. We added a patio on the sheltered side of the house beside by the wooded lot next door. The sun room has a bar, and doubles as a dining room with seating for four or more. In the living room, a love-seat and sleeper sofa plus a recliner, and an entertainment center. The laundry has washer and dryer, and you will find beach chairs and a barbecue. This is a very comfortable house for a relaxing Englewood Vacation. This Home Welcomes Your Pet.

Englewood is a quiet quaint little seaside town, located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, about 35 miles from Sarasota, and just south of Venice. The beaches are on Manesota Key and run for miles on the ocean side of Lemon Bay. This is 'old-time' Florida, with no high rises along the ocean. Local shops and galleries will offer everything you need, and major shopping centers are about 15 miles away. We even have a big new Walmart, and all major grocery stores. There are two large nature Parks in town, great for walking and learning about Florida's Flora & Fauna. At night you can still see the stars, and every sunset has its audience on the beach.

    A.) If prior to your arrival there is damage including power outages in the immediate area that will effect the enjoyment of your vacation, you may postpone your arrival, or cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
    B.) If you are staying at the property, your will not be charged for the period that the Hurricane Warning is in effect for the Englewood area. If there is damage to the area or the property that will effect the enjoyment of your stay, you may cancel the balance of your stay and receive a refund of the unused night.

Very nice neighborhood with many nice neighbors. The home is very well equipped we did not lack for anything. The area is conducive to pets with pet parks nearby also the one near Sharkeys in Venice also allows dogs on the beach.
Owner's Response: We get consistant high marks from seniors who rent this house in the winter. They find it well equipped, comfortable central and safe. We welcome pets.

We rented this property for the month of February 2009. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and easy to take care of. It is located in a quiet, safe, well established neighborhood near beaches, nature preserves, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed riding our bicycles to downtown olde Englewood, the library and several of the nearby beaches. Our daughter, husband and our two small grandchildren joined us for a week. The house was large enough to accomodate all of us. The kids loved being able to play outside and being within a short drive to several playgrounds was an added bonus. The online rental process was user friendly and the owner, Alec, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our stay at Seashell Villa was a relaxing and comfortable one. The house is nicely decorated and clean with all the amenities we needed. The beaches are a short drive away along with access to a number of grocery stores. It was a pleasant vacation all around.

This is a wonderful place to vacation! It is just as described. My mother, my two children and I stayed from March 10-17, 2007 and enjoyed every minute. It is clean and in a very good and safe neighborhood. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood in the evenings or early morning. It is close to every store you could need. Great shopping at Bealls! Withing a few minutes of Englewood and Stump Pass Beach. Highly recommend the drive out to Stump Pass Beach as it is naturally canopied and there are huge, beautiful homes out that way. Alec and Cheri are wonderful to rent from and everything went off without a hitch. Rating: A++++

We stayed at Seashell Villa for the month of Dec2006 and enjoyed our stay.
The house has all the necessary equipment needed,close to the beach and shopping, many restaurants in the area for dinning out.
