There are 4 distinct seasons full of activities. The Poconos offers snow skiing and tubing at the nearby ski resorts such as Camelback Mtn, Elk Mtn, Montage Mtn, and others. In the winter there is also paintball, snowmobiling, hunting, ice fishing, ice skating and shopping at the nearby outlets. In the summer you can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, whitewater rafting on the Delaware River and a full line of rentals nearby (boats, wind surfers, pontoons, jet skis, sailboats and more). And don't forget the gorgeous fall foliage and antiquing in the quaint town of Hawley and nearby towns on route 6.

The place was clean ad spacious. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful when my party got lost on the way there. The house warmed up nicely and was very cozy for a nice winter weekend. Everything was great and I am planning on coming back in the spring to enjoy everything the beautiful area had to offer... Definitely recommend it..

Beyond Expectations

This rental property was wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice. It was large and comfortably slept 10 adults. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. The views from atop the hill the home sat on were beautiful, even during the winter you can see the lake. The home owners were always just a phone call away to answer questions. They were extremely helpful and made sure to plow the driveway everyday that it snowed. I would definetly recommend this rental to family and friends and have even considered making a trip out there this spring/summer to take advantage of the close proximity to the lake. Only piece of advice I will give is to make sure you are aware that the street address came up in three different locations within the town and we did get lost. Also, the driveway is very steep and during winter months I would suggest bringing an SUV or truck to get you to the top of the hill.

Great accomodations!

This house was exactly as described. The sleeping accomodations were all private & there was plenty of space for relaxing & dining inside & out. The house was clean & well kept. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck & watching the deer grazing nearby & also had a great view of the lake in the distance. It was quiet & peaceful. We felt very secure since the house sits at the top of a private driveway. Swimming areas & boat rentals were a short drive away. We rented a pontoon & enjoyed the relaxing water, swimming & fishing. This house was definitely a hit & would recommend it. The only reason for not giving an excellent rating was the lack of air conditioning, but the ceiling fans in all the bedrooms & the living area provided ample cooling. In fact, the nights were cool enough to need a light covering for sleeping (even in July). We would definitely rent it again.
