I organized a small reunion event for a diverse group in early spring. The owners were helpful and professional, very easy to work with. The house is lovely - it is lived-in enough to be comfortable, but also nicely decorated, clean, and well-maintained. It is very near some great nature walks and hikes. The location is remote enough from other houses that you feel like you're away from it all, but near enough to town that you can buy groceries. There are living rooms and game rooms that are far enough away from the bedrooms that the early-to-bed crowd will not be disturbed if other people stay up all night chatting.
There is a nice mix of rooms for couples and rooms for sharing among non-couples. There are two rooms with multiple bunk beds, which could be used if your group is large. The kitchen & dining area are big enough for group cooking and dinners together. The hot water supply was fine, there are enough lights for reading, and there is even a small library.
Nearby attractions include both indoor & outdoor activities, and both easy and strenuous hiking. The stargazing is also good, with a convenient lawn with a good view of the sky and little light pollution. Everyone had a good time and wants to go back again! We were a little nervous to rent a place online sight unseen, but this place is a gem.
