Welcome to Peteridge, a landmark antique estate above Cunningham Pond in historic Peterborough. Come for a relaxing retreat complete with relaxing SPA services and sumptuous surroundings. The Carriage House is spacious, unique and extremely comfortable. Enter into the huge (25X40) living room with 42'' TV and gas fireplace. The open kitchen is gourmet perfect and ready for a crowd. Step out of the French doors to the patio with grill. The Master Suite on the 1st floor features a queen bed and queen sofa bed. The bath is SPA luxurious with HUGE jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second Master Suite has it's own sitting room and luxurious marble bath with jacuzzi tub and shower. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has king or twin beds and it’s own 1/2 bath. Take a short walk down the pond-side path to the beach. Hundreds of acres of woods and fields abut the property. Available for short or long tern rentals. As with most antiques, Peteridge is right off the main road. Pets welcome.

Follow the hiking trail that starts in the back yard around the pond to the and up Pack Monadnock Mt. In winter go to Crotched Mt. Ski area, only 15 minutes away for great, affordable family fun with all night weekend skiing and snowboarding. This newly refurbished Mt. Has the best snow making in NH. Village of Peterborough (the 'Our Town' from Thornton Wilder's play) is one mile away with restaurants, shops, museums, theater and antiques. Mt. Monadnock is a 15 minute drive away for spectacular mountain trails. It is the most climbed MT. in the world! Many golf courses in the shadow of the Mountain provide the most perfect setting for your game. In Summer, Cunningham Pond is great for swimming. Walk around the lake to the beach or plunge right in from the trail. The pond is restricted to paddle and electric boats and remains one of the most pure in NH with wonderful swimming.

Lovely Spring Visit to a Most Unusual Home

My sister and I stayed at the Carriage House at Peteridge for 2 weeks and really enjoyed ourselves. The house was quite roomy and the scenery very nice. We found the house to be very quiet and relaxing. The furnishings were comfortable with some special antique pieces to add flair. The patio was charming and we enjoyed an evening cocktail as well as our morning coffee out there. We are elderly so especially liked the spacious first floor living and bath with separate shower and jetted tub. The kitchen was very well set up with everything we needed, including huge refrigerators and 2 dishwashers! This home would easily fit a large family quite well. Our dog- Abby was welcomed.
