Nearest Beach: beach at 50 Metres
Treasure Island is located on the Pinellas Beaches. There are many fine restaurants located nearby as well as fun little restaurants. Parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking, motor boat rentals, sail boat rentals as well as bikes and mopeds are all available on the beach. Golf courses abound in the area. Major shopping malls are less than 20 minutes away. The drive from Tampa International Airport is about 30-40 minutes. Orlando is about 2 hours and Sarasota about an hour. Downtown St. Petersburg has some wonderful shops, movie complexes, and art museums. Its also the home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Major League Baseball. Spring training venues are all over the area. It's a wonderful location to get anywhere and the lifestyle is unlimited.

We visited July 14-21 and had a wonderful time (air conditioner worked beautifully). We have 4 teenagers and there was room for everyone. The pictures online do not do justice to the yard, my husband and I could have sat in the backyard the entire time with the plants and trees. The beach was convenient, just across the street (busy street, but most cars would stop to let you cross). We will definately be looking to come back.

This cottage is a great, quiet place to stay for families, especially with children. The neighbourhood is very quiet and clean and absolutley beautiful.
The walk to the white sands of the beach is very short, but has a busy street to cross. Parents would always have to go with their children, except for perhaps older teenagers.
The Cottage is very centrally located to everything, including Clearwater and Tampa, both within 25 minutes or less of driving. There are grocery stores and major shopping all within minutes, so access to eveything is so easy! John's Pass is just a minute down the road with excellent shopping for souveniers and clothes, etc...... There are several restaurants within minutes and also walking distance.The only problem that would occur to me is the A/C didn't work too well, when I stayed there we did not even have it on, because the nights were cooler outside than in the house, so we opened the windows. The breeze off the ocean is fantastic! In the summer, it would bo too hot!
