Wishing to escape to the beautiful NC mountains, look no further than The Elk Horn Lodge. Nestled at 4,500 feet elevation in Wolf Laurel Resort with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths (sleeps 10 1 King, 2 queens, bunk beds, large futon, sleeper sofa, baby crib), 3 fireplaces, woodburning stove, heart pine flooring throughout, long range views, comfortably furnished and decorated to give you that mountain cabin feel. Great big decks, cathedral ceiling, outdoor fireplace. Oh! And let's not forget the 'mac daddy' hot tub with 42 jets, seats for six and graciously accompanied with exclusively imported hammacher schlemmer 100% cotton turkish towel bath robes. This unique mountain vacation lodge has all you need to experience luxury living in the heart of the blue ridge mountains.

Resort Amenities: Swimming pool, tennis courts, horse stables, stocked trout pond, hiking trails, library, etc.

Winter Renters (November thru March): The Elk Horn Lodge is located in the NC Mountains at a 4,500 foot elevation. During the winter months, there may be periods of moderate to heavy snow fall in addition to freezing weather conditions. It is highly recommended that Winter Renters check weather conditions prior to arrival and use a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Rental fees will not be refunded if weather conditions and failure to use an appropriate vehicle prevent the Lessee, their family or guests from arriving at the property.

I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the mountains with nine of my girlfriends, and we had an amazing time! The house was exactly what we were looking for in a mountain home and comfortably fit all ten of us. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen utensils to towels and linens. Everything is kept in great condition and we felt very much at home. The decor in the home is absolutely gorgeous - we only wish we could have spent more time there enjoying it! Thank you for opening up your home to us - we can't wait to come back!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Three adult couples visited for a weekend of snow skiing and relaxation. The hot tub was great, and it snowed while we were enjoying it one evening. The accomodations were great. I'd love to make this an annual retreat. Highly recommend this home.

Wow! What a great escape. From the views to the well equiped kitchen to the large hottub. Wild life everywhere!! Beautiful. We had such a wonderful time and we were only a short drive to Asheville. We have been back three times since our first visit to the Elk Horn Lodge. We loved the area so much we purchased a lot with views and plan to build soon.

We have renovated the house to include heart pine flooring throughout, gas log fireplaces, remodeled kitched, new windows, etc...We have furnished and decorated this home to give you a mountain cabin feel with all the amentities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you are interested in a romantic and quiet getaway in the mountains or a family outing with activities for all ages, this is a home for you. We use this home regularly as our weekend escape and have enjoyed furnishing it and making is a cozy home for family, friends and others wishing to enjoy the breathtaking mountains of western NC.
