Wonderful Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation on Cape Cod and stayed in this lovely townhouse. The location is perfect for families as it is exactly right on the beach. The bay side of the cape is calm and offers plenty of swimming and snorkeling/sailing fun. The tidal flats are fun to explore; we found 2 starfish, a horseshoe crab, a family of seals and many many other crabs and snails. The neighbors who share other townhouses (not many) were kind and friendly and fun. We made some good friends with just a weeks stay.
The townhouse is perfect for a family of four, very comfortable and nicely furnished. The owners are super, there was a mix-up with our key and they were more than helpful. It's nice to know that someone is looking out for you and will go the distance to make your stay perfect.
Some highlights included:
Woods hole Aquarium (also visit Betsy's Diner and the light house in Woods Hole)
Chatham (nice family town, very upscale) and Chatham lighthouse. Warning, swimming at the beach in Chatam has a risk due to the undertow.
Cape Cod light (in north truro)
Finley's JP in Wellsfleet on route 6 (upscale restaurant that will make to order kids meals)
P-Town (take the shuttle, it leaves just across from the townhouse). While in P-town visit
Chlem and Ursies (Across from the Grand Union supermarket), Surf Club (right on the beach by the peer), Taste of Gelato and the Portuguese Bakery.
We loved the stay and made some friends while there. We hope to return and that your stay is as nice as ours was.
