Enjoy the unique and natural beauty of Amelia Island Plantation. The Plantation is a safe and secure paradise for families. Children's activities abound with swimming in the ocean, visiting the Nature Center which directs crabbing, fishing and owl prowling to name a few.
Restaurants in the Plantation and historic Fernandina are numerous and excellent. The world famous Ritz Carlton is 5 minutes away. There is a wide variety of restaurants from family oriented to fine dining.
The Spa and Salon is located inside the village and is considered top notch. The village also includes several lovely shops which offer a variety of items, from ladies and children's apparel to an upscale gourmet deli and wine shop.
Once you, your family and friends experience life in Amelia Island Plantation, you will want to return again and again.
I fell in love with Amelia Island Plantation the first time I visited. The natural landscape and intimacy of the property drew me in.
I love fresh seafood and love to cook so I run to the marina in Fernandina several times each trip for shrimp, fish, oysters and crab. The first night is always a shrimp boil. The restaurants are great, too.
I like to spend the day on the beach and then take a cool dip in the pool behind my condo. A good book, family, friends and a cool drink is a perfect vacation for me.
Lucy S. Bell purchased this condo in 2006
I grew up in South Georgia and have always loved the Northeast Florida coast area.
I love the canopy of large oaks and Spanish moss. The plantation reminds me of a wildlife sanctuary. The marshes are beautiful. I walk everywhere I can inside the plantation which has an excellent security force. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from my front door and my pool is right out m my back door so I go back and forth.
There are many restaurants and shops in Historic Fernandina located just minutes away. Go to the marina and buy fresh seafood that has just come in off the boat. I love the shrimp-always do a shrimp boil at the beach.
We certainly enjoyed your condo. The lake behind on the golf course yielded a big bass for Mark, our son. Another good place to fish is Walker's Landing in the western tip of Amelia Plantation (salt water types such as sea trout, red fish, drums, etc) We enjoyed walking, biking, and viewing the natural beauty as well.
We absolutely loved our time at Amelia Island! This condo was in a perfect location - conveniently located to the pool and a short walk to the beach. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked and felt like a home away from home. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with our numerous questions. Hope to get there again soon. Would highly recommend to others!
Just spent 5 days at this condo on our yearly "girls weekend". It was great! Pool just steps form the condo and beach right across the street. Very clean and had just about anything you would need, including martini glasses (we had cosmos our last night)! Never used VRBO before and it was just great. Lucy's place is convenient and comfortable...and she is a pleasure to deal with. Stay here! We'll be back!
We had an excellent stay and condo is well furnished and equipped with all you could need.
The doctors couldn't prescribe a better place for R&R! The condo was clean, no extra amenities were needed, property is well kept and quiet. To have golf, shopping and the beach within 5 minutes was great. The people in the community were friendly and hospitable. I'll definitely be back and will continue to tell people about my stay here. THANK YOU!!!
The condo was just as advertised. It was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to Amelia Island again.
What a beautiful condo; perfect location on the ground floor, great view of pool & golf course with water in between. The short walk to the beach was perfect. Our kids were in the next Viila and loved riding bikes over and being so close. All the beautiful oak trees with spanish moss made it so shady & wonderful. We will definitely go back!
Amelia Island Plantation is a beautiful, unique resort property that pays special attention to maintaining a natural landscape. Just walking through the canopied walking paths is a treat. Bike tours provide an extended look throughout the resort. Explore the marshes and take your camera to catch the beautiful sunsets.
