Some of the many things to do:
Walk to downtown Truro for shopping at Jams, Mac's Seafood, or a visit to the Post Office. Truro is known for being a quiet town, and yet there is so much to do in the area. A whale watch boat excursion out of nearby Provincetown or a trip to the Truro Light house are a must. There is a kayak for your use. In town, Highland Light Golf Course is a short drive. The new Truro Library and Town Hall are nice places to visit after a day at the beach. The surfing and swimming opportunities at Ballston Beach are well known. Nearby Wellfleet is a short bike/ drive down Old County Rd and provides additional opportunities for touring the many art galleries, shopping, and quaint walks through this historic village.
