The house style is Salt Box. The kitchen/ dining/ living room area (34x16) extends across the back of the house and is open to a wood beam cathedral ceiling. There are four bedrooms, two down and two up. The largest upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a queen-size bed. The other two bedrooms each have two twin-size beds. There are two full bathrooms (tub with shower downstairs, shower upstairs). Also, there is an outside shower with hot and cold water. There are full appliances: Washer and dryer on 1st floor, a Jenn Air stove with 4 burners and an oven, a Bosch dishwasher and garbage disposal. A 20 cubic foot Amana refrigerator. Trash pick-up is twice weekly, Wednesday and Saturday, to trash barrels located outside of the house. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, coffee maker and other normal appliances. There are two decks, one on the back of the house overlooking the pond.

Nearest Airport: Hyannis at 30 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 1.5 Miles
Fishing is possible in the pond. The pond has pickerel and large mouth bass in large numbers. No license is required for up to 14 years old. Licenses (as of 2005) MA residents (15 to 17 years) are $11.50, 18 to 65) are $27.50, non-resident vary from $23.50 (3 day license) to $37.50. The licenses are available from the Town Clerk in the Town Hall, or from any of the local tackle stores. A car sticker for the Town Beaches (Cape Cod Bay and fresh water ponds) is available from the town. The car's registration and a completed form with the fee must be presented at the Towns DPW building (Open until 4:00 PM. on Saturday). The fee is $50 for one week. Pay parking ($12/day) is possible at four areas. (First Encounter, Campground, Cooks Brook Beaches, on Cape Cod Bay and Wiley Park on Great Pond) Cape Cod Bay offers excellent swimming at high tide. First Encounter beach (Rest rooms available) is .7 miles down Samoset Rd only one of many town beaches on Cape Cod Bay.

This is equipped with a Weber charcoal grill and a Weber Gas Grill and a picnic table. The other deck is off the kitchen (main entrance to the house) and is very nice in the morning with the sun. The house has gas, forced hot water heat. There is a working fireplace in the living room area. There is HD color TV with Cable and a DVD . A small stereo with CD player is provided The house is located on Widow Harding Pond (fresh water). The pond is about 10 acres in size. There is a dock in the pond and a 14' row boat for your use. Swimming is possible. There is a 10 foot beach area.
