Let the experience of a perfect Maine vacation in a charming seaside cottage with breathtaking ocean views rejuvenate you! Bask in the warm sunshine, explore the coastline in our sea kayaks, bike the scenic country roads, hike a woodsy trail or just relax in our two person hammock under the tall pines. Our newly renovated cottage offers privacy and tranquility and is fully-equipped with the very best to create a memorable and relaxing vacation. We have a large kitchen with granite countertops, dining area and family room with a gas fireplace. There is also a living room, first floor master suite with full bath, second floor bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other with a full and a trundle (two twins) with a shared full bath. You will also find a laundry room with half bath (first floor) and a two car garage. Since we just completed all renovations, everything is brand new!

Nearest Ferry: Port Clyde Ferry to Monhegan Island at 8 Miles

Nearest Motorway: Rt 1 and Rt 131 at 8 Miles
Heading up the peninsula just 8 miles you'll discover Rockland then Rockport and a bit further to Camden where quaint shops, outstanding restaurants and famous museums await. Explore The Wyeth Center, The Farnsworth Museum, Montpelier or The Owl's Head Transportation Museum. Head down our peninsula to the picturesque towns of Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. From Port Clyde you can take the ferry to explore Monhegan Island. Golf, play tennis, swim or take a Windjammer Cruise. You might want to sail, go horseback riding or just stroll the oceanfront and relax. Wherever you go, just don't forget to pick up some lobsters for dinner!

Terrific property. Exactly as described. One can do as little or as much as one wants. Peaceful and secluded location, but not far from activities. Especially liked the blues scene in Rockland (Time Out Pub) and the Camden Opera House (we saw Roomful of Blues and Marcia Ball). Owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Also, can't go too far without having lobster - Miller's Seafood is close by. All in all a peaceful, relaxing, restful vacation.
