On the Rocks of Moosehead Lake, Waterfront Cottage

The waterfront cottage built 'On the Rocks' of Moosehead Lake has spectacular panoramic views of the lake, islands and surrounding mountains. Watch for loons and bald eagles out the large window on the lake side of the camp. The living room and spacious, fully equipped kitchen both have fabulous views. The thermostatically controlled Vermont Castings propane stove with a glass front gives the cottage a cozy feel. The down stairs bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the loft has 2 full mattresses and a twin bed. The living room also converts to a sleeping area with a futon and a pull-out sofa and of course there is a full bath. Located just off of 15 in Rockwood, it is private, yet very accessible and provides everything you need to enjoy your vacation. There is a shared dock (with one other camp) and a private mooring. The public landing is within walking distance making it very easy to launch a boat. You can fish right off the front deck or off the end of the dock.
