Our Sanibel Condominium is located at Seashell's of Sanibel. Seashells is a low-density development, only 44 units. It is a very short stroll (one block) to Seashell's private beach access, located across West Gulf Drive. The landscaping at Seashells is delightful... lush tropical gardens.

We are situated on the first floor, a short walk from a covered parking spot to the front door. Our unit is very roomy at 1,250 square feet. This can easily accommodate two couples and/or families. Kids will love the place as there is plenty to explore on Sanibel.

We keep our condo updated and fresh. For your convenience we use a local management company, so there is always someone available if you have any questions. For the size of our place we offer one of the best values on Sanibel. Visitors to Seashells are a loyal bunch, having discovered this gem!

Note: We can offer three night minimum stays during the off-peak season. This is rare on Sanibel! Feel free to e-mail and/or call me for further information and to check availability. I will email/fax floor/site plan and photos upon request. Wonderful West Gulf Drive Location...great beach access!

I choose this location because of the easy beach access AND that the beach is absolutely stunning

here! We are a part of Sanibel that is not as densely populated as the east end, and not remote.

West Gulf front is wonderful..... The complex is small and peaceful. Perfect.

What makes this condo unique

Enjoying the island atmosphere is the main attraction to Sanibel. Live in your swimsuit, pour yourself a cold beverage, watch the waves,....that's the program here.

Sanibel Condo

We stayed at Mark Arend's condominium at the Seashells of Sanibel and it was superb. Mark is a wonderful host with alot of great advice about how to enjoy the islands. The condo is so homey and well stocked. The furnishings were nice and just what was needed. The pool was clean and pretty. You couldn't find a better location to spend beach time away from the crowds on a private beach with nice shelling! The bike path is right in front of the condo, and it meanders around the island through some very neat, unspoiled areas. We were thrilled.

Perfect location

This condo was in the perfect location- it was just a short walk to the beach, and we were glad to not be right on the beach during a red tide. We were close enough to shops and restaurants and the refuge to bike, but far enough to have peace and quiet. We felt like Captiva was the only place we absolutely had to drive to. The pool and property were pleasant and clean.

The owner gave us a lot of helpful information when we called to discuss the dates of our stay. And when we got there and had trouble getting television, we got an instant response from him. They provide beach chairs, mats, boogie boards and toys- it seemed like that wasn't the norm for other rentals.

All that said, we were disappointed in the condition of the condo- a few things need repairs (window screens, window cranks, radio) and Florida is not the place to have carpeting (you can't keep this clean with renters as nothing dries easily). We did not compare the price of this to other Sea Shells condos- it might have been a bit cheaper because of this.

What the condo lacked was a guide- I have suggested to the owner that they create a notebook with instructions of how to use the television,other appliances and wireless, where the beach access is, the rules and layout of the condo complex, where garbage and recycling can go, and what they recommend on the island.

Overall, this place is great for a family.

It was Heaven to be ON Sanibel!

The location of this condo is unbeatable, it is located down on West Gulf Drive. So not the crazy busy part of the Island, which worked well since we were there during the high season. We were also close to Baily's grocery and hardware store if we needed anything we could make a very quick trip for provisions. The unit and location made for a GREAT family vacation. We would pack a few things for the beach take a short walk and we were there in minutes, private beach access! This condo is not on the beach mind you but rentals on the beach with a partial ocean view cost more than double what we paid and are much smaller. We know other families who were stuck with the craziness of Fort Myers for Spring break, if they only knew the secret...rent this place and be ON Sanibel! The condo was clean, spacious, had a full kitchen and was right near the pool. There were really nice gas grills by the pool that we used as well. We hope to rent this unit and visit Sanibel again!

So glad we stayed here!

I only had 3 nights to get away, many places on Sanibel require a week. Thankfully I found this condo. It was easy to find, clean and the residents nextdoor were very friendly. It is a downstairs unit, which made it easier to "move in & move out". Mark- the owner gave great advice for things to do & see. This property has private access to the beach across the street- an easy quick walk. My family of 3 had a great time here.

Great Family Vacation!

We loved the condo, very clean and large enough for the 5 of us. It was very nice not to have to buy all the little everyday necessaties we normally buy while staying at SeaShells. The kids loved sitting on the lanai and playing games after dark. Would also recommend checking out Sanibel Cruise line if you get the chance. We take a private trip to Cayo Costa everytime we visit with capt. Mike. The kids love it. He offers snorkeling, kyaks, paddle boards and sea doos all included in the trip along with shelling and dolphin watching. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. We will definatly be checking with you on available dates for next year.

Great vacation at a great home away from home. We'll be back! The walk to the beach was cake, the house and everything in it were great, we had a memorable vacation especially that my wife swam with 5 or 6 manatee's for 2 1/2 hous. It was a chance meeting but the Lord knows how special it was to her. Unfortunately the only day I missed going to the beach was that day as I was reading a book I could not put down. The owners are great to work with & we both highly recommend their place.
