- 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6

Luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bath, well furnished, ground floor condo on park like 50 acres, with 1300 feet of unspoiled lakefront on Vermont's best kept secret - international, 26 mile Lake Memphremagog! Enjoy the heated swimming pool, tennis court, clubhouse and moor your boat on our dock. Enjoy the natural setting, serene beauty and wildlife of scenic Holbrook Bay. Sit inside by the cozy gas fireplace and enjoy the view thru the panoramic picture windows. Our condo, largest in the complex, features a 4 season sun room with walls of glass to the lake. It's a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening martinis, no matter what the weather. The master bedroom overlooks the lake and mountains beyond, with it's own master bath. We are located on a natural, unspoiled bay just 10 minutes away from Newport for shopping, fine dining, golf and tourist attractions. Jay Peak skiing/golf/waterpark is 20 minutes away. Snowmobiling, ski touring and ice fishing are right out the door on the VAST.

Golfing / Biking: Friendly and uncrowded public golfing is all around. Jay Peak has opened their championship course and it's outstanding! Newport Country Club (rated as best views overlooking the lake) is a very nice 18 hole course and a 10 minute drive. Orleans Country Club (18 hole) - 20 minutes. St Johnsbury Country Club (18 hole) - 45 minutes. Also many nice courses in Quebec within an hour drive. All at bargain prices! Shorter courses are also available.

Ride your bike from the condo along scenic Lake Rd or try our Lakeside Rail Trail all the way to Canada and beyond! Also the Kingdom Trails at Burke are rated one of the top mountain biking sites in the country.

New Indoor Water Park with Surfing Wave and Skating Pavillion at Jay Peak for something different!

Winter-Snowmobiling on the V.A.S.T., Ice fishing: Step out our door and jump on your machine. We are on the V.A.S.T. system so you can leave from the condo and go anywhere in Vermont! Walk, ski or snowmobile onto the lake for some great ice fishing and scenery.

Downhill Skiing - Fabulous Jay Peak is 25 minutes away ( BIG mountain with the highest snowfall in the East), Burke Mountain - another big mountain is 45 minutes away. For a French flair and a bargain price try Owl's Head with it's lakeside skiing and awesome views, or Sutton, Bromont or Orford.

Cross Country Skiing - Our Scenic Lakeside Rail Trail, and the Ski Foundation Trails are close, free and can't be beat! Also Jay Peak has it's own Nordic Trail system. Lots of skiing in Canada as well.

Awesome Vacation Getaway!

Upon arrival we found that everything was accurate as far as descriptions and views. The place was clean and everything they listed as far as amenities goes, was there. Don't worry about bringing dishes/pans etc it was all there and then some. Even though there were plenty of people in the other condos, the place was peaceful, no noise, just frogs, birds, a heron and loons. Everything was comfortable and like home. Docking for our boat was near, and the launch was only two streets down making it easy to drop off/pick up! Defintely the place to go if you have a boat. I cannot say enough about the lake, it is just huge and the views are wonderful. While on the lake you can dock at Eastside restaurant and grab a bite to eat. US Customs and the harbor are not far. The pool was clean and heated. The owner was great, answered all my questions, gave me directions to the place as well as the boat launch. My security deposit was returned within days of leaving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We fell in love with it right away. Although peaceful and secluded you are close to town. Eastside restaurant had a great breakfast buffet on Sunday for only 10.95. Eat there for breakfast! Dinners were good, a little pricey and I don't recommend the fried seafood (except clams) especially if you are used to eating what we do. You also have to try out Hoagie's Pizza. The best around! There was plenty to do being the week of July 4th and the aquafest. You also have to visit the pick and shovel, They sell just about everything and the ice cream stand right there is cheap and great ice cream. When you order a large ice cream be prepared, they are huge. We also took a ride into Canada (Maggog) while there. Lots of stuff to do in town and everyone we spoke to was bi-lingual. Make sure you have your passports! Some people don't realize you need one now to cross the border. According to US Customs manual if you don't get out of the boat and go into port you technically don't have to stop at customs in the US but it is highly recommended that you do. I would definitely go back to this place.

The location was beautiful with a breathtaking lake view from the floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the local town with shops, restaurants, a farmer's market and a movie theater. The heated outdoor pool was perfect. The condo is clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive when we called them with a question. I would definitely stay here again.

This is truly a 4 season recreational area with something for everyone. Spring golf/biking, summer on the lake, fall hiking/ foliage, and great winter skiing/snowmobiling are just a few ideas. On Site: swim in the pool, tennis, boat enjoy great fishing or just relax by the lake. Kayak around the bay or to the islands. Bike and explore the country roads and lakeside bike paths. (bike/kayak/power boat rentals nearby). Nearby: golf, spas, wineries, shop/antique, hike or visit museums and historic sites. For a taste of France, cross the Canadian border (20 minutes) and visit Quebec, and the quaint French/ English village of Magog. Bistros, boutiques, and art galleries dot Main Street, and give you a taste of the 'joie de vivre' of the vibrant Quebec culture. Visit the local spas and wineries including the Abbey St. Benoit Du Lac and sample the cheese and apple treats made by the local monks. The beautiful city of Montreal is a scenic 2 hour drive and historic Quebec City is 4 hours.
