Less than a block from Long Sands Beach, this charming 2 story, 4 bedroom cottage was extensively remodeled and redecorated in 2004 with the comfort and enjoyment of vacationers in mind. Perfect for a family of 8, 3-4 couples or even a romantic getaway for two. The large family room features a multimedia entertainment center, 2 sofas and a puzzle table. The dining room with dry bar and a breakfast peninsula adjoin the well-equipped kitchen, where the chef will enjoy the spacious layout with great appliances, including a 5-burner gas range with dual ovens. The furnished private patio with gas grill is great for evening dinners and get-togethers.

Each of the four bedrooms are cozy & comfortable, & the two full baths easily accommodate the whole gang. A/C on both floors handle those muggy summer nights, or open the windows and let in the ocean breeze.

The cottage is equipped with 4 TVs (1 Plasma HD), 2 DVD players (1 Blu-ray), cable HDTV, TiVo & wireless Broadband Internet.

Additional Amenities:: Broadband Internet access, digital cable TV with HD local & sports channels, unlimited local & long distance calling (within US) and reserved parking for 2 cars (maximum) are also included. Additional parking available within walking distance.

It's just a hop and a skip down to Long Sands Beach for a stroll or a day in the sun (OK - it's about 103.4 yards to the beach). Or, you can jump on the trolley and visit the all of the Yorks at your leisure, without the parking hassles.

The cottage is centrally located for all area attractions, including Nubble Light, Water Country and the York Wild Animal Kingdom. Enjoy eclectic shops along the streets of the Yorks and Ogunquit, the outlets in Kittery, or the antique stores along Route 1 and in nearby Dover or Essex. There is fishing, whale watching, kayaking, and golf available nearby as well as many great restaurants. And no trip to York is complete without a stop at Flo's for her world-famous hot dogs. . . . . . . Be sure to check out the York Chamber of Commerce calendar of events for special attractions, including free concerts at the gazebo on Short Sands Beach.

Perfect Cottage, Perfect Location

We had such a great time staying in this beautiful cottage. Every room was beautifully decorated and the owners really thought of every possible detail and then some. (Even little things like sunscreen, night lights for kids, hand soap, gourmet coffee grinder/maker ... the list goes on!) The property was clean and perfectly maintained. It is so close to the beach we walked back and forth barefoot three or four times each day!We had a great time exploring the area where everything was five minutes away (lighthouse, restaurants, arcade) -- weather was gorgeous (hot!), beach beautiful and crowds minimal after the Labor Day holiday so it was a great time to be there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in a beautiful environment close to everything!

Perfect home away from home!

My family and I absolutely adored this beach home! It was a great size for four adults and two small children (could have accomodated a few more people as well). The home was beautifully decorated with a casual, beach theme. It was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and was very comfortable, spacious and clean. And the location was great...only a very short walk to Long Sand's Beach!

Based on the picture/description, we didn't quite realize that this home was part of such a tight condo village (eg: the properties are very close together). The outdoor space is limited and not very private. But there is a semi-private patio with a table/chairs and grill that was great to use. The house was so spacious and bright and most of our time was spent at the beach or out and about so the limited outdoor space at the home really didn't matter to us.

The owners were very responsive and easy to work with as well. We can't say enough great things about this property and look forward to returning in future years. Wish we could go back now!

This adorable cottage had a lot to offer our family. It is immaculately kept and nicely decorated. The owners provide everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the cottage is a very short walk to the beach. The town of York has not yet become as commercialized as other towns and this we enjoyed a great deal. The owners were very accommodating and should we venture to this part of the country again, we would request to stay here.
