Kailua Kona Vacation Rental condo

This condo was the best place I have ever stayed on vacation. The condo was gigantic, the view was amazing, and it had all of the amenities. There were boogie boards, beach towels, a cooler, snorkel gear, water shoes, and a fantastic lanai. We had three people in our party and it was easy to have privacy if we wanted it. The condo was beautifully furnished and had great showers, comfy couches, and a huge king sized bed in the master bedroom.

It was amazing to walk across the street and be able to jump into the water with tropical fish and friendly sea turtles. The park gets full during the day, so it was great to be able to just walk across the street first thing in the morning and beat the crowds.

Even though we were on the first floor, it felt very safe and we always left the doors and windows open at night. We never had to use the air conditioner because there was always a nice breeze at night. We highly recommend this place and will be coming back next year!

We had an AMAZING time!!! The condo was sooo beautiful and comfortable!!! We had a family of 8 adults and it was perfect!!! Location could not have been better - Across the street snorkling was one of the BEST - great shopping and restaurants just up the street. We BBQ'd fresh fish we caught. The pool and jaccuzzi were great! The VIEW was amazing and the lani was so wonderful with full open doors to both the kitchen/living room and also master bedroom. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone!!! We had more family that stayed at a bed and breakfast and they wished they would have rented your condo instead! This is a very nice, new condo. Master bedroom is sweet. Both bathrooms are very unique with modern fixtures and a very large open shower. 2 other bedrooms are well decorated but a typical bedroom. The patio is great for sitting and watching the sunset. The infinity pool really looks like it continues into the ocean. If you like to snorkel, the beach across the street is wonderful. It has a rock break so it's calm enough for the children, but this also creates a current as the water flows around the break, so the further out you go the stronger the current. But as soon as you step in, you'll see lots of fish. The green sea turtles we all around, grazing in the tide pools. Didn't even need to go swimming to see them. You're only a few miles south of the center of Kona and less than a mile north of a shopping center with grocery store. Very convienent.

Pros: Kahaluu beach across the street. Close to town. New construction with nice fixtures. Pool. Owner (Margie) is very pleasant to work with.

Cons: Construction noise (they were building the 2nd phase of the complex while we were there and they started at 7am), no reserved parking (but street parking was not a problem), on the first floor so people walk right by the bedroom windows.

A very nice place that I would recommend.
