Everything, except the outside walls and the refinished original pine floors, is new, as of September 2002. This three-bedroom/one-bath cottage is a great family vacation home or a romantic getaway retreat. Experience a vacation paradise while enjoying Trout Lake's spectacular views from the waterfront cedar hot-tub, exploring the natural beauty of the 1,600-acre state forest surrounding the lake, swimming, paddling, or cruising the lake in a motorboat. Enjoy fishing for rainbow or lake trout, large-mouth or small-mouth bass, perch, or rock bass. There is a safe, sandy swimming area, raft to swim out to, waterfront hot tub, 13-foot Boston Whaler with a 6hp motorboat, Old Town canoe, charcoal barbecue grill, telephone, and satellite TV/DVD. Great day trips include visits to St. Lawrence University (about 20 minutes), Alexandria Bay and Clayton in the Thousand Islands (about 60 minutes).

The pictures are very accurate. The place is immaculate. The lake is gorgeous and the owners are extremely helpful. Everything is beautiful. Well appointed. If you are looking for a peaceful, clean lake experience, this is it! The hot tub right by the lake is an amazing experience. You are not "roughing" it--very comfortable mattresses, too!
