This location is ideal i n many ways. It is close to shopping malls, restaurants, golf, fishing and the beaches yet far enough away to eliminate the noise and traffic.

The villa is located in a small upscale subdivision with many friendly neighbors. There is a small park across the street from the villa for children and the area is great for walking and biking. There are 4 bikes in the garage there, is beach paraphernalia (4 lounge chairs, an umbrella and children toys) in the garage.

The use of the barbecue is free. The phone is free for calls anywhere in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. The high speed wireless internet access is free, the access code is provided.

The nearest food, drug, bank, restaurant and video stores are close by.

Directions to to get to the villa are emailed when final rental payments have been made, however, the subdivision is an upscale sub on winkler rd just off summerlin and 10 minutes from all the beaches, golf, fishing, fine dining and bistros.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Visa and Master Cards accepted. A deposit of $100/week will hold the reservation until 60 days prior to occupancy at which time the balance of the rental fee is due. Payment is 8 weeks in advance of occupancy. The rental rate varies by number of occupants $940 for 2 adults plus an extra $100 for each additional adult
    (The $100 Plus charge does not apply to children under 18 years). Rental by the month or longer is also available.

    A damage deposit fee of $400 is required. Damage deposit will be forfeited for damage to property, an incorrect occupant count or smoking indoors (''This is a smoke free home'') To date no damage deposit has ever been forfeited (AS OF 08/01/2011). Visa and Master Card processing are available. ''Special rate''. All reservations made within 30 days of an open date are reduced by $100, (does not apply in tandem/conjunction with any other rate reduction).

    It has many amenities, the advantages of a large selection of diverse activities, a quiet setting, easy access to the many, many facilities in/of fort myers, sporting, cultural, educational, fine dining at reasonable prices, the beaches of fort myers and Sanibel island and other recreational/enjoyment filled endeavors.
    There are 3 bicycles in the garage for your use. The area is ideal for cycling as there is no through traffic. The barbecue in the pool area is also 'free' for your use (many other rental facilities charge extra for this amenity. There is also beach umbrellas, beach chairs and beach toys in the garage for your use at the beach.
    Note: ''no'' patio furniture, lounges etcetera are to be taken to the beach or out of the pool enclosure.
    Rent this home and you will be glad you did as many others from england, Norway, the continent, the us and Canada have.

Notes: The house has 10 foot high interior walls and cathedral ceilings. There is a large master bedroom and master bath. There is a separate shower, large tub, double sinks and a separate toilet room. There is an eating table in the kitchen area and also a separate dining room. The kitchen area offers great views of the pool and lake via 2 8 foot glass panels and 8' glass doors. The lanai is a great entertaining area. The table seats 6 and two ceiling light/fans in the lanai area. There are additional Folding chairs in laundry. The master bed room also has sliding glass doors to the lanai/pool area. The pool and spa are open to the south and to the west sides of the house - consequently they get sun all day. However, you can merely step into the lanai area if you want to avoid the direct sun light. The house is smoke free. Smoking indoors is prohibited but one can smoke on the lanai near the pool. The house provides exceptional views of the pool area and of the lake in the rear of the house.

The family room of this home has large windows over looking the lake and 8 foot glass panels for viewing the pool area. The pool are has a barbecue and large picnic table with 6 lay back chairs with 2 foot rests and 4 lounge chairs. There is a picnic table on the lanai near the pool which seats 6, you also have free use of the barbecue located in the pool area. There is one full bathroom in the pool area for showering and/or drying before returning to the house/pool. The spa and pool are both heated and are controlled by controls on the pool area bathroom wall, See write up at the villa for specific pool control instructions. The waterfall is programmed to run 8:00 AM through 6:00 PM. (Unless spa heater is in use, then water fall should not be running or spa heat will be lost to the pool). There are 4 bedrooms with queen sized beds & 4 full bath rooms.

Other Activities:

Lovely house for Family Holiday

I had decided to invite my family on vacation in Florida in July 2009. On the Internet, I fell over this house, and we have not regretted it.

The house is beautifully maintained and well decorated nicely and also outside.

The house was perfect, and contained all the things needed to create the basis for a perfect holiday.

Everyone was excited about the location, close to the perfect beaches, a large center where you can buy everything needed in daily life.

4th time and best yet

As I said this is the 4th visit to the villa, the condition of which is fantastic. The owner extremely helpful with any questions or issues.
I would recommend this to anyone.
The local area is nice and quiet but not so far away from local shops, the beach, shops and a huge number of golf courses.
All in all a great place to go and relax.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

This property was just as described and the owner was very responsive to our questions/requests. The setting is very pleasant and the bird life in the pond behind the house provided entertainment for all of us. Shopping is very convenient/nearby including a "pick-your-own" tomato farm within a mile. The pool is heated by a heatpump so in cooler weather it needs to be covered to try to maintain the temperature; something the owner was just doing as we left. We recommend this property wholeheartedly.

New Years Holiday, 2009

Our family of 8 adults and 3 children spent the holiday week at this home in Ft Meyers. It was perfect for our family - very spacious, 3 living areas (including the pool area). We never felt cramped. The kids loved the pool and spa.The neighborhood is very nice, met some friendly people, and the house is very conveniently located - close to restaurants, stores, beach, airport. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had one issue with the pool and the owners were very prompt in getting a service man out there. We would highly recommend the home. It was perfect!
