Rejuvenate next door at Body and Soul for a selection of massages or facials. Light and comfortable, the Sep., private apartment is in owner-occupied bldg. and consists of living/dining area, equipped kitchenette, bedroom (comfortable queen mattress) & bath, a private French door entrance from deck with table and chairs for outdoor eating or relaxing. Efforts to maintain environmentally clean space preclude use of strong perfumes and scented items or smoking. Suitable for 1 or 2 people. Enchanted oasis in a forest

Accessible to the town, but still with a great secluded feel. A very welcoming owner, dog and two cats who make you feel as though you were brought up there. Immaculate while keeping New England atmosphere. My recommendation is for people who like privacy combined with accessibility to tourist amenities.

Wonderful stay in such a quaint old carriage barn!

I have thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cute little apartment in the Berkshires. The location is excellent...so close to town....yet in a very secluded setting.

I am a repeat customer after visiting this property over the past several years. It is so beautiful both in the summer with all the flowers and so cozy and warm in the winter....I have enjoyed both seasons in this location. The kitchenette was perfect for me even though it is small and simple.....I enjoy eating out when I am traveling. I spent time on the deck relaxing in the warmer weather and found that sitting in the living room looking out into the woods with the snow on the branches and pine trees all around absolutely magnificent.....it truely is village life and country living.

I feel that it was extremely clean and pleasant and I would recommend it to friends....I believe it is a great choice for a single person or couple who likes the charm of older homes and unique structures.

My daughter and I stayed here last winter for about 10 days and had a fabulous time! The apartment was beautiful and the surroundings breathtaking. We had the best time!!

Our hostess couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

I'd recommend this place to anyone, in a heartbeat. It's in the Berkshires -- great skiing in the winter; gorgeous scenery in the fall; Tanglewood in the summer; flowers in the spring.

Not quite what the picture suggests

The picture in the ad suggests that this is a rental of a carriage house, but it is really for musty, rather small two rooms behind the building in the picture. Very damp, and spider filled few rooms. Very small kitchen. Furnishings fine but dated.

Not quite the bargain that it appears to be.
