wonderful Time for All: Thank you so much for the use of your home, my husband and I found it very relaxing and comfortable and an at home feeling. We especially liked the short walks to town, the docks, shops and resturants. The children were very pleased with the beach, playgrounds and picnic areas, and yard to play in. We all had a wonderful time, and really enjoyed bbq's on the large deck and watching the boats glide by. Thanks again, we want the same reservations for next year. JW, CT.

Our family had a wonderful visit in Wickford during the Thanksgiving Holiday season. This home has almost everything - perfect view - wonderful accommodations - loved having the linens available. Easy to entertain in this home for our extended family in RI. Would definitely rent again.

Blissfull Peace at the Side of the Bay

My husband and I were enchanted first of all by the perfect location. A short and so pretty drive through the ultra charming and friendly village of Wickford, then down a small bucolic lane to this enchanting bay side cottage. Oh, the pleasure of opening the door and seeing all so perfect, so clean, so sunny and so welcoming. Every small luxury and need thought of for you and so many others you didn't even know you had. Then the knowledge that the exquisite water view with the loons and the swans are there for your pleasure all through the dreamy days and peaceful nights. The gentle sounds of the sailboat masts clanking and swaying in the breeze, the wuthering sound of the wind around the trees, the sun rising over the small docked boats, then on to a nice glass of wine on the big comfortable deck, a good book in the breezy bedroom and a fine meal in the pretty village. A short jaunt to Newport for some culture and a hard cider at a historic pub and then back to that glorious little cottage, that view, that peace, that comfort. That and so much more is what this perfect cottage offers. Count yourself lucky that you have found it and can partake of its magic. You're blessed.

Great Wickford House

We were greeted by an osprey hovering over the cove, and it just got better with herons and egrets to watch, too. A great water view from the deck and the house was immaculate with everything we needed. Very comfortable and we plan to stay again when we're in the area.

Wickford Dinner in town was a good, inexpensive place to eat with excellent fish and chips.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this gem of a location in Wickford. Everything was as promised and more. Prepare to be impressed, as this home has plenty of charm and comfort to help you unwind. The owners were generous in sharing their knowledge of things to do, and places to go. We ended each day with a walk into the town harbor for a Del's lemonade. One of the most relaxing getaways you will find. Highly Recommended.

Gorgeous Waterfront Views...

... from the wrap-around deck, from the kitchen and livingroom, and from the first-floor master bedroom: the changing water in the cove, egrets and great herons wading along the shoreline for food, and boats motoring in and out of view.

After a full day of touring, golfing, or shopping we really looked forward to getting back to the cottage and sipping a glass of wine as we gazed out across the cove. It was such a relaxing way to spend a few hours before dinner.

Early each morning we looked forward to a brisk walk into the village of Wickford -- past historic Colonial-era homes and lushly blooming gardens -- to have breakfast at a riverfront cafe.
