An old German rock wall meanders behind the home and throughout this beautiful 2 acre property. You will feel like you have stepped back in time as you sit on the spacious covered back porch. 'Krause Haus' is named after the family who lived on this property for almost 100 years starting back in the 1860's. You'll enjoy the seclusion of this special spot and the comfort and homey feeling of the beautiful interior and decor. Large open living area is enhanced by a beautiful corner stone fireplace. Split bedroom plan adds the touch of privacy. Fully furnished inside and out for indoor and outdoor living and enjoyment.

Wimberly, about 25 minutes away, is a wonderful place to browse through shops and galleries. Use this convenient location as a great base for exploring central Texas. If you are an avid shopper, one of the country's largest outlet malls is less than 20 minutes away in San Marcos. Austin, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Boerne and Comfort are also within easy driving distance.
