This charming and comfortable, rustic and uncomplicated cottage is quite private but not secluded, on a wooded acre, with frontage on lake Memphremagog. The grounds are maintained year round. It is located 15 minutes south of Magog, 30 minutes north of the US border.

Nearest Airport : Montreal at 90 Miles
Nearest Motorway : Highway 10 Exit 116 at 10 Miles
Car: necessary

Summer all water sports (swimming, snorkeling, fishing, wind surfing - bring your equipment). Boat rental, scuba diving, three excellent golf courses a short drive away; cycling (dedicated trails), hiking, go-karts, and many more. Cultural events throughout summer: visual arts festivals, plays, concerts, galleries, shows, special events, etc. Gastronomy, microbreweries, vineyards, nightlife, shopping - all within a 30-minute drive. Winter downhill ski (three resorts, 30 - 45 minutes away), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating (rent or bring your own equipment), ice fishing, snuggle-in by the fireplace, fine dining.

Magog Cottage review

The cottage was clean and well-maintained. The location was very nice--we were able to visit Montreal (about 60 minutes away) and the Safari Adventure, (about 35 minutes away), and it was not far to the town of Magog. The owner was very friendly when we met him.

The only negative was the bathroom. The bathroom was small and hard to maneuver in to help our little one shower, and there was a note about not putting anything in the toilet--even toilet paper. We were nervous the whole time we stayed there that the 5 of us would overload the toilet, just with normal use.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
