Carol and family 2008 Vacation

Dragon37 Baltic, CT
Review Submitted: June 25, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
What a beautiful place. When we first looked at this web page we thought the description was to good to be true. The property was great for kids and the extras they included in the deal made packing for the seven of us a lot lighter. The house is located on a one way street full of locals. The locals are very friendly. The kids played in the bay in the backyard, and loved the huge wagon to take night walks. We will be back next year, and so on. We have rented other houses on Camp Ellis and this is by far the best in the area. The kids had a blast and we were able to relax. A couple stopped by as we were leaving because they too thought it was to good. They were hoping to rent it after seeing it also. There were flyers for local attractions and restaurants also. The kids loved the game room. The rooms were all good size. AC in all the rooms. Very clean!!!!
We look forward to our next year vacation!

This was our second year returning to this great vacation house. The house had alot of updates from our first year. The owners are such great people to rent from. The house is huge and the neighbors are great. We brought the kids bikes up this year and they meet some new friends that live on the road. It is so nice to sit back and relax without worries that my 4 kids do not have enough space to play. We had people remember us from 2008 trip. Very great area, very great house! Everything is included, no hidden cost. It is not to good to be true. We are alraedy planning our 3rd year to return! Thanks Sara and Tom!

Great cottage added to a wonderful vacatioin

Krzysiek New Britain, Ct.
Review Submitted: August 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We took a vacation together with 2 other families, that is 6 kids. As soon as we entered the cottage we felt good about this rental. It was clean and bright, very invitng. The yard is big and the kids had plenty of room to run around. The game room was only used once, but only because we lucked out and had great weather. The owners had the place stocked with all the little items needed, from bathroom tissue to beach umbrellas. It all made our stay feel so much more " homey ". The kitchen was stocked enough with pots and pans to make any meal during the day. I enjoyed having the outside fireplace in the backyard, every night we would light a fire and end the day sit around it. The cottage location was also great. It really is a stones throw from the ocean. A lot of area attractions are a short drive away, it is always a plus to spend more time vacationing than driving. The people of the area were very friendly and every morning I would take a walk to the docks and always ended up talking with someone. I could keep on writing about how great every thing was, but one thing I have to write is, anyone who reads the cottage discription and amenities has to believe it. Everything written is very accurate. I cannot express enough how terrific everything was, and how thougtful the owners were. Thank You very much and hopefully we will see you next time we come to Maine.

wonderful vacation at Russell Cove Cottage

Linda's Family Athol, Mass.
Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My family just returned from vacationing for the second year at Russell Cove Cottage. We loved it so much we had to go back this year. The kids had a great time in the game room. The cottage is very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach and Old Orchard is so close, it was great taking the kids. It was real nice to return to the quiet of the cottage and sit on the large front porch. I can't say enough good things about this place. We Love it !!

Great place!

lovemytoller Wilton, NH
Review Submitted: July 23, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We just returned from a week at this house. We especially enjoyed sitting on the large screened front porch and the wonderful view of the harbor from the backyard and sunroom. The place has everything you need – with many extras. Loved the great towels and all the beach supplies you need, the beds all made up and ready to go, the well stocked kitchen- quality items throughout. This is an older cottage which has been kept up nicely with all the modern amenities. In my opinion, three bedrooms are good for adults the other two bedrooms with twins, more suited for children. There were six of us here and we had more than enough room. We spent lots of time at the beach just a very short walk away. This was a great family beach and as long as the tide wasn’t high, you could walk for miles. We took great walks here, just a short walk to restaurants, the very long jetty, the general store. We found Camp Ellis to be a special seaside community, laid back, friendly and away from the hustle and bustle. You are close to Saco/Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach and Portland too. We definitely would recommend staying here. The owners were great to deal with too.
