Uniquely positioned, this luxury condo is the last unit at the very end of a wharf in the heart of Newport. Directly overlooking picturesque Newport Harbor and a private marina, there are three open terraces and a fully enclosed sun room with unobstructed, spectacular views. The apartment can accommodate up to 8. There are 2 bedrooms (one king; one with two twin beds), 2 baths, a queen pull out couch in the living room, and a double pull out couch in sun room. There are 2 television sets (cable), a stereo and VCR as well as a full kitchen, dining room, living room with a working fireplace and unique to this unit. The sun room has large windows that when open, let in the bay breezes. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Only for the Week of August 17-24

Other information:: Dishes, Glasses, Pots and utensils are provided as are dishwasher and laundry soap and paper goods. Leave your car in the on site secure parking area because you are only steps away from all the downtown amenities: restaurants, nightlife and shopping. There's a security code entry for the parking area and your individual unit. Enjoy the resort's Health Club, 2 Pools (indoor and outdoor), and Sauna; all are on the premises. If you prefer the ocean, area beaches are only a few minutes drive (or a healthy walk) away.

This is the perfect home base for a Newport vacation. With the harbor and marina in your front yard, you can join the seafaring fun, rent equipment (and bikes), charter boats for fishing or sailing, sign up for a water taxi to Fort Adams or take an evening cruise. For swimmers, public beaches are a few miles away, or you can use the resort's indoor/outdoor pool. Newport is filled with opulent 19th-century mansions open for public tours. Take a walk on Cliff Walk for breathtaking views. Newport's history dates back to the 1700s, and more than 400 pre- Revolutionary War homes are in the town. After you've seen Newport's past, check out the downtown crafts shops, restaurants (awesome steaks and seafood, of course!), clubs and nightlife -- all just a very short walk from your condo.
