Charming 1 Bedroom, 1 full bath Cottage. Cozy cottage is located on a two acre 'owner occupied' property with woods and garden views. Minutes from Acadia National Park 'Schoodic Point' and the Famous Grindstone Neck. Bike or walk to town where you can enjoy shops, restaurants, galleries and all the sites. Enjoy the wonderful picturesque 45 minute ferry ride to Bar Harbor from the town dock and enjoy the day shopping, people watching, dining, and all that Bar Harbor has to offer. Just a short walk to the shore where you can put in a kayak or canoe, picnic and watch Cadillac Mountain sunsets. Nearby golf course with spectacular harbor and ocean views, with pink granite cliffs. Cottage is perfect for a couple who wants a quiet, cozy place to relax, but be close enough to all local activities and Acadia National Park.

Many hiking and biking trails at Acadia National Park both at Schoodic Point and Mount Desert Island. Kayak and mountain bike rentals available. L.L.Bean 'free bus' takes you to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park or Schoodic Peninsula. Runs all day and early eve. Daily ferry service will take you to and from Bar Harbor right from town dock. July and August have the Schoodic Art Festival, and summer lobster festival along with many ongoing activities. Enjoy Bartlett Winery, a local vinyard where you can taste and buy your favorite wine. Enjoy all that Downeast Maine has to offer!

  • $700/week May 30 - October 17, 2009
  • A $200.00 refundable security deposit is 'required to hold your reservation'. Returned approximately 7-10 days after your departure date, assuming no damage or excessive cleaning required.

    Cancellation policy: A 30 day cancellation notice is required for a full refund. If less than 30 days, no refund can be made unless the same week can be re-rented. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Schoodic Arts for All Center hosts art exhibits, concerts and performances throughout the summer months. The Winter Harbor Lobster Festival is a world renown lobster fest and one of the largest Maine lobster festivals!

The Schoodic Scenic Byway is 29 miles in length and travels through our community and into the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. On this drive you will witness the unspoiled landscape that makes our side of Acadia National Park truly the 'Way Life Should Be'. You will see lobster boats, lighthouses and Islands off in the distance. Travel through the small villages and towns of Sullivan, Gouldsboro, Birch Harbor, Prospect Harbor and of course our village of Winter Harbor to enjoy the local flavor of our artist studios, downtown shops, restaurants and so much more!
