This elegant detached villa is set in a quiet residential street in the historical centre and beaches of Cascais. The villa itself is light and roomy, and set on four floors. It features double glazing, satellite TV, electric shutters, and a garage for 2/3 cars. There is also a large built in barbecue and a laundry room. Several terraces offer particularly pleasant views over the old part of Cascais, Cascais bay, the ocean, the lawn and pool. There is also a large gabled living room on the third floor which also has a French door that opens onto a large terrace with a spectacular view over old Cascais and to the sea. SOME MORE FEATURES: Games room with card table and table-tennis table; Living room with fireplace and a veranda overlooking the pool and Cascais; dining room with fireplace; well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and modern appliances; Jacuzzi.

The Villa is set in a quiet residential in the historical centre and beaches of Cascais. Cascais has lost none of its well healed appeal - the restaurants and shops are of the highest quality whilst the narrow, picturesque streets always seem scrupulously clean. You can just leave the villa by foot. Three cove-like beaches give you immediate access to the seaside whilst larger stretches are available from where the coast turns northward at Guincho. About 7 kilometres away, you will find the gorgeous beaches at Guincho, speciality seafood restaurants and the picturesque marina in Cascais, romantic castles in Sintra, and sightseeing in Lisbon - all within easy driving distance. There are six famouse golf courses just less than a 10 minutes drive. Quinta da Marinha, Oitavos, Quinta da Beloura, Estoril, Estoril-Sol, Penha-Longa.

  • HIGH SEASON PRICES - EASTER and NEW YEAR
    The rentals include:
    -Unrestricted tap water, gas and electricity (except for space eating);
    -Bed linen and towels
    -The kitchen is provided with fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, cutlery/kitchen utensils
    -There is a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, clothes drying area, iron and iron board;
    -The house has pictures, rugs, books, etc, so the client feels at home;
    -TV satellite.
    -Garden and pool side furniture;
    -The property, its gardens and swimming pool will be maintained with all facilities during rentals, with minimum inconvenience for clients;
    -The property will be inspected and cleaned property immediately prior to arrivals;
    -Maid Service upon previous request (6 hours - 50 euros)
  • Supplements (as applicable)
    -Baby’s cot –15 EUR per week
    -Baby’s high chair – 10 EUR per week
    -Supplement for firewood – 50 EUR per week
  • PAYMENTS:
    -20% of each rental must be paid by bank transfer, that must be received within the next 8 days after booking; the other 80%, must be received 15 days before the arrival of clients.

    SECURITY DEPOSIT
    in cash to be held by the owner EUR 400.00 (released back to client 14 days following completion of rental unless we are advised by you of a claim for loss or damage to the property).

Ideal for walking.: You can just leave the villa by foot, and in a 5 minutes walk you reach the centre of the beautiful village of Cascais, where you can find typical restaurants, shops, night-pubs, etc. The new marina of Cascais is also reachable in a 5 minutes walk. There you can find nice restaurants, and night pubs.

Bicycle road along the coast: Here it is the thing that i would recommend. You can leave the house by bicycle and do a 7 km ride along the coast to the Guincho beaches. There is a road exclusively for Bicycles and roller skates.

Casino Estoril : The Largest Casino in Europe. 10 minutes drive. Games, Entertainment and Shows.

My Families Stay At This Stunning Villa

Having visited Cascais a couple of times before and stayed in Hotels, we decided in summer 2007 to opt for a stay at a private villa. We were lucky to secure Casa Vasco da Gama for our stay and three generations of our family headed to Lisbon. This villa looks good on camera but even better when you get there. It is both spacious and luxurious. Unfortunately one week was not enough and leaving to go home was heartbreaking for us all. The villa is conveniently situated for just about everything with shops, bars, retaurants all fairly local, yet the villa remains extremely peaceful set back from the hustle and bustle as it towers out above the rest overlooking the magnificent Atlantic coast with views that are hard to forget. We want to go back in a couple of years if the property is still up for rental. A truly memorable stay was had by all.
