A spectacular direct waterfront home, on a private beach. Newly renovated. Charming, with all the modern conveniences of this century! Wake to the sounds of surf and glorious sunrises. The only way that you would get closer to the water is to be on a boat!!! Relax and dine on your covered porch. The home is naturally cooled by sea breezes or there is air conditioning, if you prefer. The beach house has three bedrooms all water side. One bedroom features it's own private circular balcony. There are two full baths and a washer and dryer. The house is well proportioned to enjoy in and outdoor waterfront living. The open floor plan provides water views from all rooms. Matter of fact, the only rooms in this home which are not facing the beach are the bathrooms! The driveway provides parking for 2 cars, there is a public parking area across the street for additional guest parking.

This historic town features shops, boutiques and restaurants around a beautiful town green. It has nature centers and historic landmarks. And for the ladies a first rate, newly renovated (03/06) indoor mall . It features many of the larger retail stores we know, as well as a movie theatre ( 14 ) , a great place for a rainy day.!! Milford rocks! The nightlife and resturants are alive with action, many clubs downtown are walking distance to each other. The town of Milford offers small town charm with city amenties. Milford's train station has convient schedules for those who wish to visit New York City for work or play. Train travel to New York is 1 1/2 hrs. This home is nearby to New Haven (10min), which has many theatres, resturants, night clubs and summer concerts on the town green. It is the home of Yale University and The Peabody Museum. Mystic Seaport and the now famous Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun Casino are a day trip away.

The second floor bathroom has a bathtub for bathing or showering and a sink and toilet. This bathroom is also the home for washing machine and dryer, which are available for your use.

This is especially good for families traveling with young children. This bedroom also has a circular balcony with seating for two comfortably; #3. is a queen size bed, and it also is a waterfront bedroom. All bedrooms are carpeted with wall to wall carpeting. #4. The living room sofa opens to a queen bed for those guests who 'party' a bit too much The living room has a 31' Sony Television. Each Bedroom has a TV and DVD player.

Notes: The Beach House was completely renovated and designed for low maintenance living. Almost all the walls are a light maple with mahogany trim. The second and third floor, hallways and bedrooms are wall to wall carpet. The first level, which features the kitchen, dining room and bathroom has a black slate floor. Bead board abounds, some of which is original to the house. One of the bedrooms and all the ceilings are beadboard or wainscoting. Due to the renovation of this house it is extremely energy efficient. One air conditioner placed in the second floor stairway will cool this entire house! The house is completely furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings.

Bicycles: Provided for your usage are three bicycles. One ladies bike with multi speeds Two traditional style man's and ladies style bike. All are complete with helmets. The neighborhood is rather flat and it will provide members of the family a great way to explore your surrounding area. This safe neighborhood is enjoyed by many who run and walk the streets for enjoyment and excerise. The streets have street lights for night time activities as well.

Kayaks: For your entertainment and joy we have provided this home with two Kayaks with paddles. On a sunny, hot day this is a wonderful way to enjoy the water, the weather and explore the shoreline. We have also included with each Kayak a life preserver which should be worn at all times.

Customer Service: It is our goal to provide to all of our customers a wonderful vacation experience. We do our best to assure that this house is spotless, that the property is kept in tip top shape with beautiful flowers and a garden planted with herbs which are available for your use. If any of our guests are having a gathering of any sort we will assist you in locating any items which you need for the event. We have the ability to pay close attention to detail because we live in the same cove about 25 houses down. This is also why we know the area well and feel safe with our neighborhood.

Golf: There are many public, first rate places to play golf in and around Milford, Ct. I would suggest in peak playing season that you go onto the internet and view the possibilities.

4th of July spectacular

What a treat to arrive to a 4th of July beach fireworks spectacular. It was a wonderful location to spend a week with my east and west coast children and grandchildren. The Warren's couldn't do enough to provide us with a comfortable enjoyable week.

Wonderful House!

We rented this house over Memorial weekend for a vacation week with both sets of parents. What could have been a nightmare scenario with all the parents, us, and family who visited during the day ended up being a great time thanks in large part to the fantastic house and dedicated owner. During the week we were there we were married out on the beach in front of the house and had our small reception on the porch! It was a very small wedding but the house was perfect. The owner helped us with extra tables to use for our guests and gave us the names of a good florist and bakery in Milford. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us to hang out together but also have space apart. The house is extremely clean, well maintained and very thoughtfully stocked. There were beach toys for the younger children and kayaks for the adults. The views are amazing and the neighborhood is charming. We would rent this house again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing seaside vacation.

Absolutely memorable!

The secret of the Long Island Sound is that it is absolutely gorgeous and serene in the fall and beautiful in the winter. This lovely, well-insulated home created a life-time of memories for our fall & winter stay there. If you're looking to stay on the Sound, beware that not all homes are created equally. This one has been upgraded with the latest weathering advances, so that your electric and gas bills will be low and the envy of all around. The home is very quaint and stocked with everything you wish you had in your own home (and then some). The bedrrooms range from light (facing the sound) to warm and cozy (3rd floor loft), with something in-between. We will never forget our stay there and this home and its gracious landlords are a big part of it.

Milford summer '07

Could not have been closer to the ocean. At high tide the waves were right at the deck. We stayed for 2 weeks summer of '07 and loved every minute. Owners were thoughtful and accomodating and place was immaculate and well equipped. We rented the property sight unseen and there wwere no disappointments.
It was a great vacation!

Fabulous Waterfront Home

This was our second year renting this home and we absolutely love it. The location is wonderful, the beach is just steps away and the house(s) are immaculate. The owners are more that accomodating and provide the best customer service. We would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to enjoy a great time at the beach.
