Cottage has 3 levels, 2 kitchens, 2 living areas, 3+ bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 decks, screened in porch, open farmer's porch at rear to relax and enjoy complete privacy on over an acre of land. Enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Suncook Lake from 150' of private waterfront. Suncook Lakes has great fishing and has two lakes connected by a channel. There's a boat launch at the bridge between the two lakes to launch your power boat. Great sandy beach for swimming in Suncook Lake's clear water and a dock to tie your boat up to or fish off. A row boat and a canoe is available for use. Fully furnished, just bring your clothes, linens, towels and personal items, then enjoy. Make staying here a family tradition. Kids have plenty of room to adventure. Beautiful Fall Foliage, day trips to mountains. Winter, ice fish, snowmobile, ski Gunstock not far away.

Beautiful Fall Foliage surrounds the Lake and a great place to stay and take day trips to the White Mountain attractions. Plenty of restaurants 5 to 30 minutes away. Or just take a relaxing drive through the back country roads. Just 25 minutes to Gunstock Ski Area for winter or summer fun. Only 25 to 35 minutes to Mt. Major and other hiking, downtown Laconia or Weirs Beach attractions. Take a ride on Lake Winnipesaukee’s Mt. Washington tour cruise just 20 minutes away at Alton Bay. If it's shopping you want, then drive to either Concord or Tilton factory outlets, both have great shopping just 25-30 minutes away. Late afternoon rainbows.
Salamander hunting after an early morning rain.
Wild Blueberry Pancakes,
S'mores by a roaring campfire,
Full moon illuminating a glass-like lake,
Watching a beaver glide by beneath a glowing night sky.
It doesn't get much better than this!!!!

Paul, year after year, my family and I have had the best time! I feel so fortunate to have found your rental. From the moment we leave, the kids are asking how many months we'll be back at "The Lake". I only hope you'll continue to rent while our kids grow. They (and we) look forward to this every year! Thank you!

Ski weekend at Gunstock

We had a great ski weekend at Gunstock! The house was a perfect setup for our two families of 11 people. The setting was beautiful and private. At first we thought the drive to the mountain was too long, but as the weekend progressed, we all decided the scenic drive along Winnipesaukee was relaxing and enjoyable. If you are looking for something fancy, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a great family getaway with plenty of room and function, it IS the place for you! Probably the ONLY thing I didn't like; was having to take the trash away ourselves, but not really a big deal.

Despite the rainy weather

This was our first time renting here, and we hope that we will be returning!!!! There were 9 of us, and the lay out of the cottage was perfect to accomodate our family. As soon as we walked in, we fell in love with the place. It is very "campy", just as you want for a family get away. The most impressive part, aside from the beautiful lake view, is that so much of what we needed was already in the cottage. If we go back, we will not need to bring nearly as much as we did this time. We had a lot of rain, but we managed to have a wonderful time with our three girls, two sons-in-laws, and two young grandchildren. The memories will last a lifetime. Thanks!!
Owner's Response: Our cottage is not a typical rental in that it doesn't just have the bare essentials, but we like it well equipped, which makes for packing to be lighter for all. You are staying at what has been our family's vacation home for 5 generations, with lots of family memories that your family can also have.

Great family vacation

We have been renting here for several years. It is a wonderful way to spend a family vacation in a relaxed setting. It is rustic, which just adds to the charm of the place. The lake is beautiful, and the cottage has everything you need to make memories that last a lifetime...a dock for boats, a floating dock for swimming fun, a shed full of yard games and toys, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, etc. We love it! We look forward to it every year.

Great lake - average house

The goods:
-Excellent lake/sandy beach. For kids, watersports, fishing..
-Dock for your boat
-Good for skiing/wakeboarding
-Lower unit has been renovated

The not so good:
-Upper unit's bathroom needs full renovation
-Upper unit's bedroom is tiny
-All areas that are missing photos in the posting...
-Need to take all the trash to a disposal facility yourself
Owner's Response: Our cottage is cozy, campy, away from home, but with all the comforts of home with a cottage, lakefront, vacationing feel. We have several renters that return each year.
If you want to have family memories like the ones that our family has enjoyed for 5 generations, along with our repeat renters, then come and stay at our cottage/camp on Suncook Lake.
