Photos and Description of the Little Deer Isle vacation house rental

1832 Island farm house, I'm the 5th generation to own, the house has a lot of the family history, pictures and furniture. It is very private, sitting on 17 acres of woods and fields, there is a road to go down to the ocean front with a private deck within 10 feet of the ocean, listen to the ducks and loons and enjoy the schooners and sail boats as they pass on there summer cruise! The house has two covered porches if it should rain and a deck on the side towards the water with a BBQ grill to enjoy outdoor dining! The porches have drapes and shades for sun and wind control as you enjoy the porch swing and wicker chairs overlooking 176 years of flower gardens and lilac bushes! There are several restaurants and places to buy lobsters, crab meat and clams nearby! Rent a kayak in town and explore the Island shores! The waterfront is very private and you could take a dip in your own suit! Go back to life the way it was meant to be! More photos available to be sent by email.

Extra room for more guest: There is an apartment in the barn available to the renters of the Maine house only(it will never be rented to anyone except you) There is a bed room (double bed and bath kitchen and living room Balcony(old load limit 4 adults) No kids(High) Lots of stairs so able adults only (No kids or elderly!) $300.00 extra rental plus $100.00 cleaning call for details great for your over flow!

the upstairs of the house has had a new dormer add: 2008 redid the bedrooms and baths up stairs total renovation
