Roomy, charming, year-round house on Sacandaga Lake. The perfect get-away for peace, quiet and relaxation. The main floor has been updated with paint and hardwood floors. The house has virtually everything you need. It has four bedrooms (2 on the main floor and 2 upstairs), one bath, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and a family room with a fireplace. There is a back patio off the kitchen with a picnic table, and a small deck off the front. From the front bay window there is a beautiful view of the lake with 113 feet of private lakefront . Lakeside (directly across the road from the house), there is a large private lawn area, 113 feet of lakefront with a private dock and a picnic table; great for sitting around a campfire on warm evenings roasting marshmallows.

Nearest Airport: Albany, NY at 40 Miles
Located in the Adirondack Park, Sacandaga Lake is about 29 miles long with a maximum width of 5 miles; the surface area is approximately 42 square miles. There is much to do in the area. If your tired of swimming, fishing, boating, and relaxing, history rich Saratoga Springs with its horse racing, casino, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), wonderful restaurants and boutiques is about 25 miles away. Lake George with its quaint village, restaurants, discount shopping center, 6 Flags/Great Escape, Magic Forest and Waterside World is only about 20 miles away. Also within a reasonable drive are Fort Ticonderoga, Cooperstown, Albany (55 miles) and Rutland, Vermont(75 miles). Closer to home, there is whitewater rafting on the Sacandaga River, antique shopping, golf, horseback riding and hiking trails. This area is also a perfect place for autumn leaf peeking. The mountain colors are spectacular.

Rented the property last minute for labor day weekend. Owners were very friendly and accomodating. House had everything we needed, and was clean and quaint, just what we were looking for. Would certainly stay here again. Thanks!
